2021-5-8 LIVE DRIFT RALLY TUNING AND RACING TUTORIAL
[0:00 - 0:23] How is everybody doing today? What is up with you guys, man?
[0:23 - 0:32] Now I do apologize for the last stream. I had to stop it because it was being weird and the
[0:32 - 0:37] picture went out. Don't know why, but in this stream I kind of wanted to do something for
[0:37 - 0:45] you guys. This is actually requested by my brother Sean. So Sean hopefully you're watching
[0:45 - 0:54] this, buddy. But today we're actually going to be doing a live drift tune and live rally
[0:54 - 1:01] tune and I'm going to kind of show you guys the basics on how to do a proper set up, how
[1:01 - 1:10] to do a proper tune, and show you guys ultimately how you would actually drive, you know, a
[1:10 - 1:20] actual rally car or how to like do an actual drift and actually be good with it. So we're
[1:20 - 1:34] actually going to start off with what one do I want to start off with? You know, let's
[1:34 - 1:40] start off with a proper drift tutorial. So you guys can kind of get the idea on how to
[1:40 - 1:48] probably do it. And the way I'm doing this, this doesn't just work for, you know, F1 drifting
[1:48 - 1:56] or FD drifting. This also does work with rally as well. You're going to kind of apply the
[1:56 - 2:11] techniques that I'm going to show you guys to, you know, your stuff. Now let's start
[2:11 - 2:21] off with this, you know, let's start off with this Skyline GTR V-Spec. If you guys don't
[2:21 - 2:31] know, JDM cars or Japanese domestic motor cars or Japanese domestic cars are some of
[2:31 - 2:37] the more commonly used ones when it comes to drifting. And so that you do see a lot
[2:37 - 2:46] of American muscle as well, like Corvettes and all that stuff. But for this one, we're
[2:46 - 2:57] going to do a proper tune. But for this one, I'm going to do this, I'm going to set everything
[2:57 - 3:10] up manually. For this, you want everything race class. The only thing you don't want
[3:10 - 3:19] to race a race spec on is the tires. And I'll show you guys a couple of different ways to
[3:19 - 3:30] do it. The way I do it is more professional, it's more advanced. But I'm just going to
[3:30 - 3:39] do, you know, your basic tune to kind of start you guys off. Like if you guys are just getting
[3:39 - 3:52] into drifting or rallying, you know, you guys will have that experience. I know that's
[3:52 - 3:59] kind of the boring part, but this is all part of, you know, how to drift. And this doesn't
[3:59 - 4:11] just apply to a Horizon 4, this applies to literally everything. Now, as you guys saw,
[4:11 - 4:20] I did throw a roll cage in there. And on Horizon 4, I can also say having a roll cage is very smart.
[4:25 - 4:29] And I know a lot of people say that doing all wheel drive is the best kind of tune.
[4:29 - 4:35] No, it's not. I mean, you can use all wheel drive
[4:35 - 4:40] for drifting. I mean, I've seen plenty of people do it.
[4:40 - 4:48] Matter of fact, hog and race, hog and racing, who's actually a good friend of mine and a major
[4:48 - 4:55] YouTuber, he uses all wheel drive sometimes. Most of the time he uses rear wheel drives.
[4:55 - 5:05] Now for this, just starting out, you want to go with either a sport tire or street. I prefer
[5:05 - 5:14] street just because of the fact that's where you do a lot of the drifting at is on, you know,
[5:14 - 5:23] street. Now tires like your rims, that depends on personal preference. Me personally with the Skyline,
[5:23 - 5:30] I like to go with the Class C, something really nice. You know, something like this right here,
[5:30 - 5:34] that actually looks really good. Not gonna lie, I'm actually gonna use that. That looks good.
[5:34 - 5:43] Now you do want to have your rim size all the way up. I go 20s in the back and in front.
[5:44 - 5:46] Offset, you want that all the way.
[5:46 - 5:54] Now this right here, this just comes down to personal preference.
[5:54 - 6:03] I mean, you can use a wide body kit if you want, which is probably what I'll end up doing.
[6:11 - 6:14] Yeah, I think I'm gonna go with the wide body kit on this.
[6:14 - 6:25] Switch that over to rear. Oh, there we go. That's looking fire.
[6:25 - 6:32] Now it did drop it down to A class at the top end of A class, but that's okay.
[6:39 - 6:48] Okay, starting out in A class, as you guys can tell, it's at the top range of A class, so...
[6:48 - 6:54] Hey, you're not wrong on that one, dude. He really does.
[6:54 - 7:02] All right, so now that we have our Skyline,
[7:02 - 7:07] this is where things get interesting.
[7:07 - 7:17] I personally like to have my tire pressure down to say about 14.
[7:17 - 7:23] All right, so for this one, all right, let's do about...
[7:23 - 7:29] Let's do 18. Yeah, 17.5 is actually really good.
[7:33 - 7:38] Gearing, you can leave that stock if you want.
[7:38 - 7:44] Your camber, you want all the way out so you have proper grip.
[7:44 - 7:53] Toe in, I usually put a little bit of toe in in the front and a little bit of toe out in the rear.
[7:53 - 8:00] I usually put 1.7 at toe in, toe out on rear. Front cast or angle, you want that all the way up.
[8:01 - 8:07] Anti-roll bars, you can leave that as is. You definitely want to have your car dropped
[8:07 - 8:11] all the way down. You definitely want to have your car lowered all the way down
[8:11 - 8:15] as low as you can get it. Sometimes I'll do like, say...
[8:15 - 8:24] Say an 8.2 raise up, but for this, we're just going to slam it down to the ground.
[8:26 - 8:32] Dampering and bump stiffness, you can leave that arrow. If you can mess with that, I usually do
[8:32 - 8:38] cornering in the front and back. Brake pressure, you want that all the way up.
[8:38 - 8:48] Performance diff, you want that all the way up.
[8:50 - 8:56] But that is just your basic drift tune right there. If you're just starting out, this is your
[8:56 - 9:04] basic tune and setup. Now, I'm going to show you guys how to properly slide this thing.
[9:04 - 9:11] And to do that, we're actually going to go to one of my personal favorite spots to drift,
[9:18 - 9:26] which is... Actually, you know what? I'll just throw you guys right in the freaking...
[9:26 - 9:34] Yeah, I'm going to do this just straight up classic tutorial style. And the best place to do that...
[9:34 - 9:47] Right over here in a big open area, so I can kind of show you guys what to do.
[9:47 - 10:04] And also, that does depend, actually. Low tire pressure can affect it,
[10:04 - 10:08] but it also depends on the time of year or two, because if you guys don't know,
[10:09 - 10:22] Horizon 4 does change seasons. Now, I know a lot of people say, "Oh, and I get this all the time."
[10:22 - 10:32] "Oh, do you go in fourth gear at all?" No. Your drifting gears are usually your first, second,
[10:32 - 10:37] and third gear. Well, most of the time, you're going to use second and third more than anything.
[10:37 - 10:42] Unless you're on a highway and you just want to do some high-speed drifting, then you might
[10:42 - 11:01] get into your fourth gear, but that's highly unlikely.
[11:06 - 11:14] And I cannot stress this enough. If you have a wheel set up, keep both hands on the wheel, man.
[11:14 - 11:21] I can't stress that enough. All too many times, I see people going one-handed,
[11:21 - 11:25] and it irritates the shit out of me.
[11:30 - 11:39] So, if you guys are using a wheel, keep both hands on the wheel. You have way better control
[11:39 - 11:44] that way. All right, now, this is just me. This is what I like to do right here. I'm going to
[11:44 - 11:54] start out over here in the corner and kind of come into it. Basically, what you want to do
[11:55 - 12:01] is you want to go in, like, see these cones right here that are straight ahead? Basically,
[12:01 - 12:06] what you're going to do, you're going to head for those cones. You want to kind of already
[12:06 - 12:10] be in second gear, but what you're going to do is you're going to rip the e-brake
[12:10 - 12:18] and turn in. And then, as you're turning in, you're going to counter-steer. And as you
[12:18 - 12:25] counter-steer, you're going to throw your car sideways. And from there, all you've got to do
[12:25 - 12:39] is just go back and forth with the wheel, like so. And you definitely do want to use your foot
[12:39 - 12:45] brake a lot. Me, personally, I like to use it as, like, a clutch. I like to clutch kick with my
[12:45 - 12:59] foot brake a lot. Besides, you can see it kind of, I have a regular clutch, by all means, use it.
[12:59 - 13:06] But if you don't have a clutch, then, you know, you can usually use your foot brake
[13:06 - 13:10] as, like, a makeshift clutch. That's what I do anyway.
[13:10 - 13:26] But as you guys can see, you have total control. It's all about just keeping control of the matter
[13:26 - 13:33] better. I'll give you guys a cocked-in view here, so you can kind of see how I'm keeping control of
[13:33 - 13:44] the car. As you tell, I'm ripping the e-brake as I turn in. And as I'm turning in, it's kicking it
[13:44 - 14:06] sideways, allowing me to keep control at all times. And then when you get real good, you can
[14:06 - 14:18] start doing stuff like this. Like, throw that into a backwards entry right there.
[14:18 - 14:24] I was trying to 360 that, but it came out as a reverse entry.
[14:24 - 14:36] So, as you can see, I'm constantly counters theory. And it's just all about throttling your gas.
[14:36 - 14:41] If you can throttle your gas and title and maintain that, you're solid.
[14:41 - 14:56] Now, like I said, the only time you'll ever use your fourth and fifth gear is if you do need the
[14:56 - 15:03] extra speed or if, you know, say you're on a highway and you want to do some street drifting,
[15:05 - 15:08] that's how you do it. You kind of switch it up into that higher gear,
[15:08 - 15:15] like right here. This is actually another, this is one of my favorite spots to do some highway
[15:15 - 15:21] tandeming. I love doing some tandems here with my crew. It's definitely a lot of fun. I definitely
[15:21 - 15:44] enjoy it. All right, so let's bring it around here and hope for any guy, we don't do any
[15:44 - 15:50] traffic damage. Now, I'm going to show you guys why you want it in higher gears.
[15:51 - 15:59] On the highway. As you can see, we're going fast there. Thank God this thing has re-won.
[15:59 - 16:08] Let the faster you go, the higher gear you want to be in.
[16:08 - 16:15] I'm just not doing that. I need to kind of
[16:20 - 16:21] let that car go by.
[16:21 - 16:31] There we go. As you can see, there's more room, which means you're going faster,
[16:31 - 16:35] which means you're able to kick it into higher gears,
[16:35 - 16:42] which means you can basically just monge you down this whole thing.
[16:44 - 16:50] You can basically monge you down this highway. I'm just hoping for anyone to hit anyone in the
[16:50 - 16:59] process. Like that. You definitely got to watch out for traffic on here.
[16:59 - 17:08] So as you can tell, I'm just mongeing down the straight here.
[17:08 - 17:12] And we don't know what mongeing is. It's basically you're just throwing the car back and forth
[17:14 - 17:20] like this on a straight away. And that was too damn close. Holy shit.
[17:20 - 17:30] Go to off road. It's all good, though.
[17:30 - 17:36] Let's see if we can weave in between this guy right here.
[17:36 - 17:42] Oh, this is going to be interesting.
[17:43 - 17:51] Okay, this is going to be fucking fun. I get to go in between these two truckers up here.
[17:51 - 18:00] I don't know. Damn it. That's just how you definitely get the basis on how to drift.
[18:00 - 18:06] It just takes practice. I haven't really had much practice with the skyline, to be honest.
[18:07 - 18:17] I more or less use like my Chevy Corvette or my Nissan 350Z or even what's known as the Devil Z.
[18:17 - 18:22] And you guys don't know the Devil Z has one of the hardest cars to drift hands down.
[18:22 - 18:28] And there are very few people like myself who can actually handle it.
[18:28 - 18:35] Now, when you do get good enough at drifting, you can start linking together
[18:35 - 18:39] corners. You can start doing different stuff.
[18:39 - 18:45] Like one of my favorite things to do is 360s.
[18:45 - 18:49] Soon as we get out of this tunnel and from around this guy.
[18:49 - 19:00] That waltz out.
[19:04 - 19:06] Oh, hold it.
[19:06 - 19:18] But when you get good enough, you can kind of start doing stuff like this.
[19:18 - 19:24] Straight out reverse entry right there.
[19:26 - 19:37] Just flat out and just straight ripping.
[19:37 - 19:43] So as you guys can see, like, oh, thank God.
[19:53 - 19:59] Now, if you do get good enough with drifting, you can kind of, no, no, stay with me, sir.
[19:59 - 20:00] Dang it, really did.
[20:00 - 20:06] But if you do get good enough, you can kind of hold these roundabouts fairly well, too.
[20:06 - 20:11] I love doing roundabouts. They're definitely one of my favorites.
[20:11 - 20:21] And for this one, you do want to be in fourth gear for sure, because you're kind of going wider.
[20:21 - 20:32] As you can tell, you're definitely going way wider. So you definitely do want to have that.
[20:32 - 20:41] Oh, one of my favorite spots right up here. Let's go.
[20:41 - 20:47] This is this spot up here is actually where me and my team practice all the time.
[20:47 - 20:58] So this is actually perfect.
[20:58 - 21:13] And yeah, so I just straight up barely dodged that man.
[21:13 - 21:22] All right, let's shred some tires.
[21:22 - 21:30] Show you guys what a proper run looks like.
[21:30 - 21:40] Oh, and on a side note, don't hold your hand break all the time.
[21:40 - 21:55] I see way too many people holding their hand break when going into a drift. You never do that.
[21:55 - 22:00] The only time you do that is it's like you're on a hairpin.
[22:00 - 22:08] Like if you're on a hairpin or something, then yeah, I can understand holding the hand break
[22:09 - 22:10] a little longer than normal.
[22:10 - 22:23] Now, the only time you'll hold your hand break is if you're doing rally cross racing and oh, damn.
[22:23 - 22:26] Yeah, I kind of need to fix my car here.
[22:37 - 22:41] I definitely need to fix my car. Like I'll show you guys around me,
[22:41 - 22:55] and there's a little hairpin coming up right up here outside this drift zone.
[22:55 - 23:14] Now, let me show you guys how to take a proper hairpin.
[23:14 - 23:22] There's actually a nice little hairpin right up here, actually.
[23:22 - 23:28] All right, let's thin this around.
[23:28 - 23:35] So you guys see this little triangle right here?
[23:35 - 23:44] I'm going to use this as a hairpin basis. A hairpin is a corner that comes up at a point like this.
[23:44 - 23:48] As you can see, the two roads right here that intersect.
[23:50 - 23:53] So as you can see, they come to a point like that.
[23:53 - 23:56] Now, what you want to do when you do that,
[23:56 - 24:02] like I said, this is the only time you want to hold the hand break.
[24:02 - 24:17] And I'll show you what I mean.
[24:17 - 24:21] As you can tell,
[24:21 - 24:27] I'm holding the hand break a little bit longer than normal.
[24:27 - 24:42] Reason for that is because of the hairpin.
[24:42 - 24:49] Yeah, I know. I need to actually I need to fix that.
[24:49 - 24:58] Now, keeping in mind what I just showed you,
[24:58 - 25:03] keeping in mind what I just showed you guys,
[25:03 - 25:07] I'm going to show you guys what it's like to actually
[25:08 - 25:17] print it on the hardest place in the world or where a lot of the drifters like myself go,
[25:17 - 25:24] which is the toge. And you don't know what a toge is. It's basically a mountain road.
[25:26 - 25:39] So we're going to head over to Fortune Island here.
[25:39 - 25:50] And actually, Fortune Island is actually where we're going to do the rally tune as well.
[25:55 - 25:58] All right. Not going to lie, the toge thing, that's actually funny. I actually
[25:58 - 26:00] fucks with that one.
[26:00 - 26:21] And so, yeah, that's not going to lie, dude, that was actually funny as fuck.
[26:21 - 26:24] I cannot lie. That toge thing is actually funny.
[26:25 - 26:29] I am not going to lie on that. That's actually pretty good.
[26:29 - 26:39] Head over here.
[26:39 - 26:51] That is true. And like I said, a lot of the tips I learned from guys like Hagen Racing,
[26:51 - 27:02] Van Gogh Jr., Ryan Turk, you know, actual pro drifters. And actually, the way that I learned
[27:02 - 27:08] is actually the legend of South Kichsuchia, who is actually literally the guy that invented this
[27:08 - 27:19] sport of drifting. And that's kind of where I learned. Way for it to get light out a little bit.
[27:20 - 27:24] Now, it is a little bit harder to drift at night just because of the fact it's darker.
[27:24 - 27:33] Gotta be careful with guardrails on here, man.
[27:33 - 27:41] Now, you take all those skills put together and this is what you get.
[27:41 - 27:44] Not that.
[27:44 - 27:51] Yeah.
[27:51 - 28:09] Ah, kind of. Hey, look, we got a troll going in.
[28:09 - 28:16] I'm not even going to pay him any more.
[28:16 - 28:30] Yeah, I definitely need a little bit more power for this.
[28:30 - 28:55] Now, I am going to switch up to one of my actual Mountain Tune drift cars to kind of show you guys.
[28:55 - 29:09] Oh, that dude wants to tandem. Let's go.
[29:09 - 29:16] Oh, I see you in that S15 Silvia, bro.
[29:22 - 29:27] Do a nice little reverse entry right there coming in. Full backwards send.
[29:27 - 29:36] Yeah, I definitely do need to work on the tuning on this just a little more.
[29:36 - 29:44] Not too much more, though.
[29:50 - 29:54] Now, also, you don't want to have your foot on the gas the whole time either
[29:54 - 29:57] because then you'll just end up spinning out.
[29:57 - 30:12] Yeah.
[30:12 - 30:42] That's not the best run, though. That's actually not a properly tuned mountain.
[30:42 - 30:47] I do have one that I use that's actually probably tune for mountain drifting.
[30:47 - 30:52] So I'm going to bust that out and kind of show you guys what a proper
[30:52 - 30:57] tune drift car actually looks like.
[30:57 - 31:08] All right, what it handles like, I should say.
[31:08 - 31:34] Go all the way over here to my SD card, so I did actually take a 350Z and I actually did tune it for
[31:34 - 31:46] this. So we're going to bust out my Nissan 350. Is this the 370?
[31:46 - 32:06] All right, guys, hold on.
[32:06 - 32:14] I'm going to go out of this. Let me quit the Oh, no, there we go.
[32:14 - 32:19] Oh, nevermind. We're good. I hate when it does that.
[32:19 - 32:35] And also on a side note, whenever you're drifting, have your hands on the sides of the wheel,
[32:35 - 32:45] not up here like this, but on the sides.
[32:45 - 32:55] Yeah, all the way.
[32:55 - 33:02] Hold on, guys, you're back.
[33:02 - 33:10] Oh, yeah. Where's that?
[33:10 - 33:13] You should know. It's a bunch of chicken and more shells.
[33:13 - 33:18] That's all, guys.
[33:18 - 33:43] It's moving the whole box over now. Oh, I got a couple of doorbell back up. Yeah, yeah.
[33:43 - 33:50] All right, sorry, I guess.
[33:50 - 33:55] All right, now let's get back down real quick. Oh,
[33:55 - 34:08] shit, get out of that way. Get out of that guy's way real quick.
[34:12 - 34:15] So as you guys can tell, I definitely did tune this one for mountain drifting.
[34:15 - 34:31] All right, now let's take all the skills I just showed you guys and let's do a proper run.
[34:31 - 34:34] Oh, damn, dude.
[34:34 - 35:03] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[35:03 - 35:07] I hate when that happens.
[35:07 - 35:21] Now, see, like right there, I kind of, I lightly ripped the e-brake.
[35:21 - 35:43] So as you can see, I'm just really just
[35:44 - 35:54] centering the throttle and the gas and just kind of, you know, working my way up by counter steering.
[35:54 - 36:15] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[36:15 - 36:32] Oh, my God, the reverse exit. Hell, yeah. We'll do an R is.
[36:32 - 36:38] What? How did I fail that?
[36:42 - 36:57] All right, now I'm going to give you guys a first hand experience driver's seat style. Let's go.
[36:57 - 37:32] Crap.
[37:32 - 37:34] Ooh.
[37:34 - 37:55] Yeah, that reverse entry right there. That was nice.
[37:55 - 38:22] Oh, unless the number one with this shit, don't ever start up in second gear like that
[38:22 - 38:27] because you'll end up spinning around in circles
[38:27 - 38:44] like that.
[38:44 - 38:50] That's why the always traction either rip the e-brake to kick it out
[38:50 - 38:55] or like I said, if you don't have a clutch, you can clutch kick with your foot brake.
[38:55 - 38:57] That's what I do.
[38:57 - 39:06] It's a little clutch kick.
[39:06 - 39:16] And also, when you find yourself going backwards, you do want to counter steer a bit.
[39:16 - 39:56] It's a little clutch kick.
[39:56 - 39:58] Oh, you asshole.
[39:58 - 40:04] Now, when you do get good enough, you can actually start doing shit like this.
[40:04 - 40:08] You can start pulling 360s and shit.
[40:08 - 40:32] So, now that we got the basis of drifting down for you guys, now that you guys got
[40:32 - 40:39] the basis of that, let's turn you guys into some rallycross racing.
[40:39 - 40:45] And in order to do that, we're going to have to go to...
[40:45 - 40:49] Let's go back to our garage here.
[40:49 - 40:55] And we're actually going to grab a car that I have not tuned yet.
[40:55 - 40:58] So as you guys see, the drifting is definitely a lot of fun.
[40:58 - 41:04] Now, you are going to apply some of those techniques to rallycross racing because rallycross
[41:04 - 41:06] is very, very similar.
[41:06 - 41:08] Very similar in a lot of ways.
[41:28 - 41:30] So, with that being said, we're going to bust out.
[41:30 - 41:33] I have set a car that I'm not actually tuned for rally yet.
[41:33 - 41:50] Let's do the Golf GTI because this one actually is a very good rally car.
[41:50 - 41:54] The Golf GTI is very good for rallycross racing.
[41:55 - 42:00] It's one of my more preferred ones on Horizon 4 actually.
[42:00 - 42:03] It's one of my more preferred rallycross cars.
[42:03 - 42:09] Now, this one, we are going to go full blown on this.
[42:09 - 42:21] You want everything to be all the way up to S1 or S2, basically as high as you can get it.
[42:23 - 42:26] And this one, you're not going to do rear-wheel drive.
[42:26 - 42:32] You do not use rear-wheel drive on a rallycross car.
[42:32 - 42:33] It just doesn't work.
[42:33 - 42:38] Trust me, I've tried and it's bad.
[42:38 - 42:46] Most rallycross drivers use all-wheel drive cars.
[42:46 - 42:53] Now, instead of doing the drift tune, you're going to do rally spring suspension.
[42:54 - 42:58] So, as you can see, it's raised all the way up, which is where you want it.
[42:58 - 43:02] Now, this one, you definitely do want to roll cage
[43:02 - 43:08] just for the fact of the crumple spots on the car.
[43:08 - 43:20] And as you guys see, I clearly got more than that.
[43:20 - 43:26] We got $1 million, $867,589 cash down.
[43:26 - 43:28] Wait, did I do all these?
[43:28 - 43:30] Oh, yeah.
[43:30 - 43:32] All right, so we're good there.
[43:32 - 43:38] Now, for this one, you want to go all the way over here, not drag tune tires,
[43:38 - 43:41] the rally tire compound.
[43:41 - 43:45] And obviously want everything else all the same.
[43:45 - 43:50] Again, rims, that varies by choice.
[43:50 - 43:54] But for rallycross cars, I had to go something more old school.
[43:54 - 44:00] Like, I like to do more of an old school style to it.
[44:00 - 44:11] Like those right there, those are old school.
[44:11 - 44:12] Those actually look good.
[44:13 - 44:20] Now, instead of having the tire like this right here, you want it like this right here.
[44:20 - 44:24] So, I leave it stock.
[44:24 - 44:40] Now, for me, I usually use the Forza aerodynamics on this.
[44:43 - 44:47] Obviously, you want to have all that stuff sorted out.
[44:47 - 44:56] Mudflaps, obviously, you want those.
[44:56 - 45:04] Now, for this, you want all that and then all wheel drive.
[45:12 - 45:17] Oh, yeah, we took that thing from a D-Class all the way up to, I believe it was S2.
[45:17 - 45:27] It was like top end S1, low end S2.
[45:27 - 45:40] Now, you guys remember how we did the tuning for the drifting?
[45:40 - 45:43] You're going to go complete opposite of that.
[45:43 - 45:52] So, instead of your tires being between 30 and up, you want it down to as low as you can get it,
[45:52 - 45:57] which is for me, for the Golf GTI, it's 15TSI.
[45:57 - 46:01] Gearing, I usually leave that as is.
[46:06 - 46:16] Alignment, you want that at about 0.4, toe in, toe out, this you want all the way up.
[46:16 - 46:22] Now, everything else you want soft.
[46:22 - 46:30] Your roll bars, your springs, your damper, or your damping, you want all that
[46:33 - 46:37] on soft. Ride height, you want that all the way up, obviously.
[46:37 - 46:46] Rebound and bump stiffness, you want those on soft as well.
[46:46 - 46:49] Now, this is where it's still in position.
[46:49 - 46:52] This is what I was talking about with the arrow. This is where you want to be.
[46:52 - 47:00] Front, you want that for cornering and then rear downforce, you want that on speed.
[47:01 - 47:05] Braking, you want that all the way up.
[47:05 - 47:16] Everything else is fine.
[47:16 - 47:23] Now, if you do get the chance to mess with the deceleration, you want that high as well.
[47:24 - 47:33] And then your drive tran or your center brake, you want that at 50, but that's fine right where it's at.
[47:33 - 47:50] All right, now that we got our proper tune in, we're going to take it to the one spot that
[47:50 - 47:56] is dangerous for a lot of drivers on horizon four. And I mean, very dangerous.
[47:56 - 48:00] Like hardly anybody goes to this spot that I'm going to show you guys.
[48:00 - 48:06] And you guys will see why.
[48:06 - 48:18] Now, the difference between cross and drifting, you hit the like with drifting,
[48:18 - 48:20] you start drifting as you're going into the corner.
[48:20 - 48:26] Right before you get to the corner on rally, you want to already be tuning in.
[48:26 - 48:31] You already want to be turning in because it's going to allow you
[48:31 - 48:35] to get around that corner just a little bit faster.
[48:42 - 48:51] Oh, I want to get out there.
[48:51 - 49:10] Okay.
[49:10 - 49:24] Now, the reason why you want your ride height all the way up is so that when you hit your jumps,
[49:24 - 49:29] your springs can absorb the impact.
[49:32 - 49:45] Now, see like right there and that right there is why you never do what I just did.
[49:45 - 49:54] That's why you always want to already be turning in to the corner.
[49:59 - 50:02] As you see, this is definitely one of the more treacherous areas.
[50:02 - 50:15] As you can see right there, the springs absorbed the impact.
[50:15 - 50:38] And sometimes you might get lucky and be able to turn in like I just did without any problems.
[50:38 - 51:03] Right here is a perfect example of a hairpin for a rally course.
[51:03 - 51:06] Now this, you do want to hold your e-brake a little longer.
[51:06 - 51:18] And that's why, because you can kind of come in and do whatever you need to do.
[51:18 - 51:29] You can hit that hairpin a little bit easier and better.
[51:29 - 51:47] Let me give you guys a better look at how a rally cross car works.
[51:47 - 51:57] So as you can see, I'm already turning in by the time I hit the start of the corner.
[51:58 - 52:10] And it kind of throws me in already.
[52:10 - 52:33] Now let me show you guys what a good run looks like on a good day.
[52:33 - 52:38] Let me show you guys what a decent run looks like on a rally course.
[52:38 - 52:48] So, let me show you guys what a decent run looks like on a rally course.
[52:48 - 53:13] Not that, that's for sure.
[53:17 - 53:23] Oh, no wonder I went too far out of it.
[53:23 - 53:45] Oh, damn, matter of fact, after this, I am going to show you guys what it's actually like
[53:45 - 53:53] to run a rally cross car on a WRC six, which is one of my personal favorite rally cross
[53:53 - 53:58] training games.
[54:14 - 54:16] Anyway, just for sure, I'm going to hit that jump at the end.
[54:16 - 54:26] Just see how far I can send it.
[54:42 - 54:55] Now you can, ultimately on here, you can turn ultimately any car you want into a rally car.
[54:55 - 55:15] I'm sure I send it.
[55:15 - 55:40] Alright, not gonna lie, that was pretty fire.
[55:40 - 55:59] Alright, let's go.
[55:59 - 56:16] Now I'm just being random.
[56:16 - 56:22] Alright, now that I showed you guys how to do a proper rally tune and whatnot, let me
[56:22 - 56:36] show you guys what it's like to actually do a rally cross run and trust me, it is sketchy.
[56:36 - 56:42] Now if you guys don't know, WRC six is one of my personal favorite rally cross games
[56:42 - 56:50] along the games like dirt 2.0 and stuff like that, which I will be doing more in-depth
[56:50 - 57:13] runs on dirt 2.0, I will be trying to break some records.
[57:13 - 57:17] And all I got to say is props to the guys that actually do pro rally cross.
[57:17 - 57:31] Alright, straight up man, you guys are fucking ballsy, dude.
[57:31 - 57:56] Only for one that's mostly a straight.
[57:56 - 58:10] I'm doing no snow track.
[58:10 - 58:18] That sounds pretty simple.
[58:18 - 58:26] And for this one, I think I'm going to go WRC two.
[58:26 - 58:35] And then I want to go with, I kind of like this scooter right here.
[58:35 - 58:48] This scooter looks nice, let's go with that.
[58:48 - 58:55] And this one right here is for the rally cross, rally cross legend, Colin McRae, man.
[58:55 - 59:13] RFT to the legend, Colin McRae, bro.
[59:13 - 59:37] As you can see, definitely not easy.
[59:37 - 59:52] As you can see, you make one mistake on this course and you're done.
[59:52 - 60:03] As you can tell, mountain courses, hard.
[60:03 - 60:09] I am messing out quite a bit, but that also is because of the fact that I've never actually
[60:09 - 60:33] really driven this course.
[60:33 - 60:49] Oh, I almost made that.
[60:49 - 61:16] Ah, if you're not careful, that will happen.
[61:16 - 61:41] Oh, saved it.
[61:41 - 61:55] So as you can tell, rallying is very hard.
[61:55 - 62:06] It takes a lot of skill to do this and I'm good with it, but even I'm not that good.
[62:06 - 62:26] Dude, where's the finish at?
[62:26 - 62:31] Oh, there we go.
[62:31 - 62:39] And as you can tell, it's definitely, definitely tricky, definitely hard, not as easy as people
[62:39 - 62:57] make it out to be like, you've got to be super careful with that matter of fact, let's
[62:57 - 63:21] see if I can find one that'll allow me to.
[63:21 - 63:39] There we go.
[63:39 - 63:43] Now this spot right here is definitely one that I'm very good with.
[63:43 - 63:48] I absolutely love this track.
[63:48 - 63:52] I personally like this course.
[63:52 - 64:16] Now this is a course I know quite well.
[64:16 - 64:45] I'm going to do a quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick.
[64:45 - 65:13] As you can tell, it's definitely tricky.
[65:13 - 65:37] And yes, that will happen too if you're not careful, you will run into shit.
[65:37 - 65:54] You see right there, that is a perfect example right there of a hairpin perfect example.
[65:54 - 66:09] Okay.
[66:09 - 66:38] That's something else you got to watch out for too, man, those sneaky corners, man, always
[66:38 - 66:52] we've had attention and those corners will get you.
[66:52 - 67:20] I'm going to do a quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick
[67:20 - 72:48] quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick
[72:48 - 73:15] quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick
[73:15 - 75:05] quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick
