Server & Transcription Issues

Occasionally, transcription of very long videos may fail due to the limitations of our current server setup. We're using a dedicated vCPU server*, which costs around $30 per month, which is being paid by Aviv. While it's sufficient for most tasks, it struggles with the intense processing demands of lengthy video transcriptions. Upgrading to a GPU server, which would handle these tasks more efficiently, would cost around $220 per month—a significant increase (which Aviv can't handle alone).

If donations are offered it would be possible to upgrade to a CUDA GPU server (such as a Hetzner Matrix GPU), through which the service would see significant improvements:

• Transcriptions would be completed 40x-100x faster, with greater accuracy and fewer errors.
• Additionally, we'd be able to utilize a better and more accurate transcription model "Fast Whisper Medium" with GPU support, generating more precise transcripts compared to the current semi-reliable "Fast Whisper Small" model.
• This upgrade would greatly reduce the frequency of transcription errors caused by insufficient processing power.
