2023-5-29 GOING BACK TO MY ROOTS AND WHERE IM AT NOW CAREER WISE !!!!!!!!!! (Facebook)
[0:00 - 0:09] Well, man, I know a lot of y'all have not heard me put out any new music on social media in a while.
[0:09 - 0:12] And I wanted to explain why.
[0:12 - 0:19] Because as y'all know, over the last seven years, I've been through some crazy, crazy shit.
[0:19 - 0:26] And that's kind of, you know, stunted me working on music and whatnot.
[0:26 - 0:31] But it was preventing me from really dropping anything new.
[0:31 - 0:38] It's not, you know, me focusing on this and that and the other, not letting it.
[0:38 - 0:44] It's because motherfuckers have been stealing my music, even if I get a copy written.
[0:44 - 0:47] And they've been getting the royalties for it.
[0:47 - 0:54] So unfortunately, I have to wait and to release my music until I can get an LLC going.
[0:54 - 1:07] Under my name, so I can illegally do my shit, like I've been doing, and not have my shit give jack from me.
[1:07 - 1:23] Over the last seven years, I've lost about anywhere from one to $2.5 million in ad revenue, reviews, donations, sponsors, all kinds of stuff.
[1:23 - 1:29] Because of these people that have done what they did.
[1:29 - 1:38] But also on the flip side of that, man, I've gained a lot of, you know, people that have heard my music, that love my music.
[1:38 - 1:41] And I just wanted to take a minute to say I love y'all, man.
[1:41 - 1:48] And I want to say thank you guys for listening to my music, for showing love, showing support.
[1:48 - 1:51] I truly appreciate you guys, man. I really do.
[1:51 - 2:06] I appreciate everybody that listened to my music, everybody that, you know, messaged me saying how much my music has helped them, all the fan letters, all the different cool shit.
[2:06 - 2:13] You know, I appreciate you guys, and I don't ever take that for granted, ever.
[2:14 - 2:24] And there are some people that, you know, are out there that say that, oh, you don't have any fans, and nobody likes you, and da-da-da, and this is not the other one.
[2:24 - 2:28] Well, that's not true, and you're wondering why?
[2:28 - 2:52] Because if you guys don't know, in the culture of Norse Viking, Aetorch, which is not this or this, but this golden bracelet right here, this gold bracelet right here, this is known, this is what's called Aetorch.
[2:52 - 2:57] And these things are not giving out lightly at all.
[2:58 - 3:07] They're giving out to people that have high regard for someone else.
[3:07 - 3:19] So, like, let's say that I have Aetorch that I was given, and whatnot, and I then pass that Torch onto you.
[3:20 - 3:37] If I pass it on you, it's because I have very, very high regard for you, and you've obviously done something that means something, that is, you know, whether that be good, or standing up for somebody, or, you know, something very significant.
[3:37 - 3:41] Those are the only times that those are giving out.
[3:41 - 3:50] And this was sent to me by a fan who obviously, you know, clearly has high regard for me.
[3:50 - 3:59] And I can honestly say the only time that this thing comes off right here, the only time this thing comes off is if I'm taking a shower.
[3:59 - 4:01] That's the only time that comes off.
[4:01 - 4:06] Other than that, I wear it all day, every night, I sleep with it all and everything.
[4:06 - 4:11] You wonder why? Because that's how much that means to me.
[4:13 - 4:17] Like, for me, it's an honor to receive something like that.
[4:17 - 4:28] To know that somebody has that much high regard for me, that they're willing to do that, that right there means I'll last me, and I don't take that lightly.
[4:29 - 4:39] I fully embrace that, and I am so, so beyond honored to be able to receive that.
[4:42 - 4:47] I am beyond honored to receive something out of that caliber.
[4:47 - 4:53] Like, that really does mean a lot to me, and like I said, I don't take that shit lightly.
[4:53 - 4:56] I take that shit very, very seriously.
[4:59 - 5:10] Because obviously somebody has held me to a very, very high standard and has, you know, seen something in me that not many get the chance to see.
[5:11 - 5:15] So to that person that did send me this, I want to say thank you.
[5:15 - 5:18] This truly, truly means the world to me, man.
[5:18 - 5:29] And I want you to know that I don't take it lightly, that I take it very seriously, and I'm beyond honored that you hold such a high regard for me.
[5:29 - 5:32] I truly, truly appreciate that.
[5:35 - 5:45] But to all my fans out there that are wondering where I'm at now, because as you guys know, I deleted my main YouTube channel.
[5:45 - 5:52] For a reason, because I didn't want to get involved with that bullshit, I didn't need it.
[5:52 - 5:57] It's like the minute I went back on, I started getting trolled and I don't need that shit.
[5:58 - 6:04] I'm in a very good point in my life right now where I can pretty much do whatever I want, really.
[6:05 - 6:08] And I feel very fortunate for that.
[6:08 - 6:12] I'm very fortunate that I am able to do what I want.
[6:13 - 6:19] I know a lot of people think like, oh, you know, you didn't work, and that's why you're able to do it.
[6:19 - 6:21] No, no, no, no. I did work.
[6:22 - 6:39] I worked for over four years scrapping metal, hauling over 700 plus pounds in within a month every day, hauling over 100 pounds of metal to and from the scrap yard every day for four years.
[6:40 - 6:46] So I can have all this stuff that I've been so lucky to be blessed with.
[6:47 - 6:55] Now, granted, some of it was from fans, and the y'all that did do that for me, I appreciate you for that. I really do.
[6:57 - 7:08] But a majority of the stuff, like my keyboards, my DJ deck, my mic set up that I currently am running, all that stuff I got on my own.
[7:10 - 7:13] That's all stuff that I got on my own.
[7:14 - 7:24] The only things that were donated to me were the two violins, the electric guitar, and the wheel rig.
[7:25 - 7:27] And that's really about it, Dave.
[7:27 - 7:47] The only other thing that was given to me was from a very near and dear friend of mine, which is my boy Danny over in Norway, who was gracious enough to send me an Xbox Series X because my other one got jacked up because of a bunch of fucking idiotic trolls.
[7:48 - 7:52] That thought that it would be funny to pull some slick shit.
[7:53 - 8:02] But I am very gracious for every single thing that I've gotten, but like I said, I have worked.
[8:03 - 8:16] I have worked my ass off for a very long time, and a lot of people seem to think that because I've been so focused on the troll shit that I don't know how to promote myself.
[8:17 - 8:20] And that's not true. I do know how to do that.
[8:21 - 8:29] It's just I've had to do a troll shit for so long that I kind of forgot how to do that, and I'm kind of winning myself back into that.
[8:30 - 8:44] Because before all this started, I was always promoting myself constantly on a daily basis, but I can't promote myself until I get my LLC so that I can do what I need to do.
[8:46 - 8:49] And not have idiots fuck me over again.
[8:51 - 8:59] Because I'm done with my music being stolen, and I know a lot of people are like, well dude, why don't you perform your stuff and da-da-da-da, there's a reason for that.
[9:00 - 9:06] Because I know the trolls are watching, and they'll try to steal my shit. The minute that I perform it, they'll try to steal it.
[9:06 - 9:26] But I'm at a point in my music career where I'm very, very happy. Where I can release what I want when I want. I don't have to answer to anyone anymore like I used to.
[9:27 - 9:34] I know it's hard to wait, but I used to be on a major label and I didn't have to answer to people. And it sucked. I hated it.
[9:35 - 9:44] Now the label, everybody on the label was great. They were great, great people. And I have nothing but the utmost respect for those people.
[9:45 - 9:50] 100% I have nothing but the utmost respect for them. And I always will.
[9:50 - 10:03] Like, if they ask me to collab with them, shit, I'm right here, now let's do some damage. I'm always down to work and collab, man.
[10:04 - 10:13] I'm always willing to collab with, you know, somebody that is very serious about music, that isn't the troll, that isn't how to fuck people over.
[10:14 - 10:24] Like, if they ever asked me to, you know, come back onto their label and work with them, I wouldn't a heart beat.
[10:25 - 10:36] But at the same time, I've also learned over the years that I don't need a label. All I need is a solid hardcore fan base that don't take shit from no fucking body.
[10:37 - 10:44] And I feel like with you guys, I have that. And I can genuinely say I am very, very grateful to you guys.
[10:45 - 10:53] I know things have been hard with all these trolls probably attacking you guys, messaging you guys, and I apologize for that.
[10:54 - 11:00] I know that it shouldn't be because that's them doing it, but I'm still sorry that you guys have to go through that.
[11:01 - 11:03] That sucks that you have to deal with that.
[11:06 - 11:11] But overall, man, I just wanted to say thank you guys and let you guys know where I'm at.
[11:11 - 11:15] I'm currently working on a brand new project for YouTube.
[11:16 - 11:23] It's something that's been in the works for a couple years now that I'm finally able to start to build upon.
[11:24 - 11:29] I can't say what it is because it is a surprise.
[11:29 - 11:37] But this is something that I've been working on with my good friend Matt and a couple other people at the same time.
[11:38 - 11:43] And, you know, this is a project that's been in the works, like I said, for the last two to three years.
[11:44 - 11:49] This is something that I've really been wanting to do, that I'm finally getting the chance to do.
[11:49 - 12:00] And ultimately, this project is going to give me a chance to start over a brand new, fresh, clean, no bullshit, no garbage, no drama.
[12:02 - 12:17] You know, it's really going to allow me to be able to showcase what I'm really and truly capable of as far as, you know, being a content creator and being able to get back to my roots.
[12:18 - 12:26] You know, as a content creator, something that I'm very excited to do, and this project is going to allow me to do that.
[12:27 - 12:30] And I'm very excited. I'm so excited for that.
[12:31 - 12:43] I'm so excited to be able to say, hey, I'm going back to my roots as a content creator and maybe somewhere down the line, maybe even get back into, you know, game developing.
[12:43 - 12:51] Because for a while there, I was doing game developing and whatnot, and then shit went sideways and whatnot, and I wasn't able to do anything.
[12:52 - 13:02] But now that I'm getting back to where I used to be, I am super excited to say that I got a surprise project that I'm working on for you guys.
[13:03 - 13:10] I'm going to finally be able to pick back up on the company that my older brother left behind for me to start up.
[13:10 - 13:29] Well, he didn't like leaving behind for me, but this company that I'm going to be running is going to be to represent everything he was about creatively.
[13:29 - 13:39] And me and my mom founded this company together to honor my older brother.
[13:40 - 13:45] And my older brother was constantly a gamer, like he was always gaming out.
[13:46 - 13:53] Any chance he got when he wasn't reading the book or he wasn't out with his friends, me and him were gaming it out.
[13:54 - 13:59] He was just as much of a gamer as I was, sometimes more so.
[14:00 - 14:11] And I feel like, you know, starting this company back up and doing game development is, you know, something I can do to honor him.
[14:11 - 14:29] That's something I've been wanting to do that I would like to give back into to honor my brother and be able to showcase my creative side and my storytelling side as far as being a game developer.
[14:30 - 14:35] That's something I've always been very passionate about that I'm going to be telling back into.
[14:36 - 14:41] And, you know, I'm excited to see what that takes me later on down the road.
[14:42 - 14:55] But right now I'm more focused on being a content creator and pushing out this surprise for you as I really think it's going to get to, you know, showcase that.
[14:56 - 15:11] It's not going to be able to showcase what I can do creatively, but it's going to show what I can do editing wise, video quality wise, it's going to showcase a little bit of everything.
[15:12 - 15:14] And I'm very excited for that.
[15:15 - 15:17] And I hope that you guys are excited for that too.
[15:18 - 15:25] Now, like I said, I can't speak and say what it is because I've talked with my brother Matt about this.
[15:28 - 15:35] And there's something that me and him have been in the works on for the last two and a half years.
[15:36 - 15:42] And I'm very excited to be creating this content for you guys.
[15:43 - 15:45] I'm super excited for that.
[15:46 - 15:50] And I hope that you guys are just as excited as I am.
[15:51 - 15:53] Well, that being said, I love you guys.
[15:54 - 15:56] Hopefully you guys understand why I can't speak like this.
[15:57 - 15:59] Like I said, it's a surprise for you guys.
[16:03 - 16:06] And like I said, I will not be promoting this publicly.
[16:07 - 16:11] I will be promoting this through private chat.
[16:12 - 16:22] So anybody that wants in on the surprise, let me know and I will personally message you the surprise.
[16:28 - 16:31] Now, this is something that I have talked about with some of you.
[16:31 - 16:46] So yeah, like I said, this surprise is going to be a way for me to start over and I'm super excited about starting over.
[16:49 - 16:53] So yeah, that being said, I love you guys.
[16:53 - 16:59] And I will be seeing you whenever I can go live on Facebook, I will.
[17:00 - 17:04] But I can't go live on Facebook because for some reason that's why I can't.
[17:05 - 17:07] I don't know what's going on with that, but I'll figure that out eventually.
[17:08 - 17:10] But with that being said, I love you guys.
[17:12 - 17:14] And I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
