[1:32 - 1:47] I am going to show you how to do this.
[2:10 - 2:16] In this video of the Drift King, you will focus on the art of drifting performed by the Drift King himself.
[2:16 - 2:27] Kichisuchia will go through all 6 basic techniques essential to drifting and further analyze how Drift King is using these techniques from various cameras.
[2:27 - 2:32] Let us guide you to the world of the Drift Kings, Drift Bible.
[2:36 - 2:40] First of all, we will take a look at how a Drift machine should be tuned and modified.
[2:40 - 2:48] Looking at this S14 Sylvia with limited modifications to only the suspension area, we can say that drifting is not about power.
[2:48 - 2:53] Going sideways relying on only brute power is not what Kichisuchia aimed for.
[2:53 - 2:58] So how should a beginner set his or her machine to drift like a king?
[3:01 - 3:05] Okay, so what is the least amount of tuning you need to drift?
[3:05 - 3:10] We get lots of stuff done to our car right here, but we don't need to go crazy to start drifting.
[3:10 - 3:13] First of all, you have to start with the suspension.
[3:13 - 3:17] But then you should also change the brake pads and brakes for it, but that is about it.
[3:17 - 3:26] And if you are lucky enough to be able to spend some more, upgrading the CPU, exhaust system, seat, steering and chip knob, may be a good idea.
[3:26 - 3:30] And as you improve, many changing LSTs may be good in the future.
[3:30 - 3:37] Anyway, what I want you all to understand is that you don't need loads of money to enjoy the sport of drifting.
[3:37 - 3:43] Let's check out the six basic techniques that Sichia actually applies to drift.
[3:43 - 3:47] See how Sichia triggered the tail to slide with each move.
[3:47 - 3:56] To make it easier to analyze each drifting procedure at low speeds, we'll use the second hairpin at a B-su circuit going counterclockwise.
[3:56 - 4:02] To begin with, I'll show you what I was doing back in the days long before anyone recognized me.
[4:02 - 4:06] This should be the entry level technique for all novice rippers.
[4:06 - 4:13] First of all, I cut the spring shorter on my car, and then you go out and turn your car sideways.
[4:13 - 4:16] There's no difficult wave transition involved here.
[4:16 - 4:20] We'll first use the e-brake to go sideways.
[4:20 - 4:27] Then we'll try what's called the shift lock, and then on to the power drift. That doesn't require much skill.
[4:27 - 4:30] I'll show you these three techniques.
[4:30 - 4:38] This one's for all beginners. Everyone goes through this stage.
[4:38 - 4:41] I started off doing this too.
[4:41 - 4:45] This drifting relies all on the e-brake.
[4:46 - 4:52] Straight away, brake, toe, and e-brake.
[4:52 - 4:55] Right there, just like this.
[4:55 - 4:57] Well, it all starts on something like this.
[4:57 - 4:59] Don't worry about how you lift the corner.
[4:59 - 5:04] Just try to pull the e-brake at the corner entrance and concentrate on making the car go sideways.
[5:04 - 5:09] E-brake, then turn the wheel, step on the clutch, and pull the e-brake.
[5:09 - 5:13] Release the e-brake, go into counter-steer mode, then wait.
[5:13 - 5:19] Until you know that the car is facing the corner exit direction, then you gently start stepping on the gas.
[5:19 - 5:24] How hard you should step on the gas pedal should depend on how much you're sliding in counter-steering.
[5:24 - 5:28] All of this should get you to exit the corner in one piece.
[5:28 - 5:39] One must learn the timing and the rhythm of the drift king's drifting procedure and actually feel the back end of the tail slide in order to master the six-plated drifting techniques.
[5:39 - 5:46] The length of the tail slide depends on the steering angle, plus how long and how strong the e-brake is being pulled.
[5:46 - 5:52] All maneuvers must be done smoothly and timely, and to do that, having the right carbon position becomes crucial.
[5:52 - 5:58] This is a must in order to give a car a quick counter-steer and respond to the car's slightest movement.
[5:58 - 6:02] Let's check out how some cheetahs control the gas pedal from the outside.
[6:02 - 6:06] You can see he's controlling the drift without opening the gas all the way.
[6:06 - 6:11] The timing to pull the e-brake is almost synchronized when the brakes are let off.
[6:11 - 6:27] The second technique is the shift lock.
[6:27 - 6:34] Notice that sichina's right foot is not going to turn deep.
[6:34 - 6:40] Okay, let's now look at the shift lock.
[6:40 - 6:42] I used to do this on snow and wet surfaces.
[6:42 - 6:46] I don't recommend you do this on dry roads, but here we go.
[6:46 - 6:57] Just like that, it will kick the gas all the way in third gear.
[6:57 - 6:59] Brake, steer, then boom.
[6:59 - 7:02] You let the clutch go without using healing, too.
[7:02 - 7:04] The rear will suddenly lock.
[7:04 - 7:07] Then you slide to the steer from here.
[7:07 - 7:10] Rest is the same as a side brake drift.
[7:10 - 7:15] The former entry procedure is to stand as the side brake drift.
[7:15 - 7:18] The important part here is when to release the clutch.
[7:18 - 7:22] Sichina lets off the clutch just as he peaces off the brake and steers in.
[7:22 - 7:25] His braking only lasts for two seconds.
[7:25 - 7:27] It's not a good brake.
[7:27 - 7:32] Brake, brake, gas. The tail slide goes right as he steers into the corner.
[7:32 - 7:36] This is how the car starts tripping from the corner entrance.
[7:36 - 7:45] In power over drifts, throttle control is the key.
[7:45 - 7:54] I used to do this when I couldn't drift yet.
[7:54 - 7:58] When I brake like this, you tried to drift, but I couldn't because I was too scared.
[7:58 - 8:03] So the only thing I could do was to step on the gas all the way at the corner exit.
[8:03 - 8:07] I used to practice this on the snow.
[8:07 - 8:13] When you can't do anything about the strong understeer at the corner entry,
[8:13 - 8:16] you should try this on the snow on a wet surface to practice.
[8:16 - 8:19] Steer into the corner, if you feel the understeer.
[8:19 - 8:23] At the corner exit, just blow the gas and make your car go sideways.
[8:23 - 8:25] And as you exit, countersteer.
[8:25 - 8:30] This should be the easiest way to drift at the entry level rather than side brake drifting and shift lock drifting.
[8:30 - 8:33] You should practice this on a slippery surface.
[8:33 - 8:37] And remember not to step on the gas until you reach the corner exit point.
[8:37 - 8:44] Because if you give too much gas before this slippery point, you'll end up understeer throttle.
[8:44 - 8:47] In this case, the corner entry is the same as before.
[8:47 - 8:50] Gradually opening up the gas into the cooking point.
[8:50 - 8:53] The insukiya loosens up the gas for a moment.
[8:53 - 8:56] And then he kicks in the gas pedal to get the task lighting.
[8:56 - 9:01] Power over drifting, the strong front power grip.
[9:01 - 9:06] This is the reason why the insukiya loosens the gas to make the weight shift to the front.
[9:06 - 9:13] By this time, you've mastered entry level drifting.
[9:13 - 9:18] And if you're in control of the car's weight transition, you can pull your e-brake lightly.
[9:18 - 9:22] Just a tad so that people watching can't even tell you're pulling the e-brake.
[9:22 - 9:26] Then you'll learn how to drift using shift lock and braking.
[9:26 - 9:30] But this entry level is a good starting point for all beginners.
[9:30 - 9:33] How is the air transition being done?

[4:42 - 4:49] Now don't get it twisted, this is by no means a goodbye for good.
[4:49 - 4:54] This is by no means me saying that I'm going to delete my channel.
[4:55 - 5:05] But if I want to succeed at what I love to do and be successful at music and be successful as a YouTuber,
[5:05 - 5:09] I have to face this problem with Marty head on.
[5:09 - 5:12] I have to take care of it.
[5:12 - 5:16] And until Marty is behind bars, I am not going to be on.
[5:16 - 5:20] And if I am, it'll be like once a week.
[5:24 - 5:32] But from here on out, my main goal is going to be to get my family right, to get my shit right,
[5:32 - 5:36] to get my music up and going, to start playing shows,
[5:36 - 5:43] to start venturing into other things that I enjoy doing.
[5:44 - 5:55] Like taking back up artwork, taking back up writing. Hell, who knows, I may even write a book about all this shit that's been going on.
[5:55 - 6:05] But what I do know is that I can't keep doing this anymore.
[6:05 - 6:09] I cannot sit here and pretend everything's okay when it's not.
[6:12 - 6:15] This has been going on for far too long and it needs to stop.
[6:15 - 6:24] Do I love the fans? Without a doubt.
[6:24 - 6:36] Without a doubt, the Cyrax Nation has given me so much.
[6:39 - 6:45] And I will always and forever be grateful for that. I really will.
[6:45 - 6:49] But right now, I need to look after my family.
[6:49 - 6:54] I need to look after my mental health. And most importantly,
[6:54 - 7:02] I need to take care of this issue with Marty so that I can move forward
[7:02 - 7:07] and be the successful person that I know I can be.
[7:07 - 7:16] And like I said, this is by no means or in any way a goodbye for good.
[7:16 - 7:22] And this is by no means me saying that I'm going to delete my channel because I'm not.
[7:27 - 7:38] But to protect my family and myself, I am stepping away and working on other things until this situation gets dealt with.
[7:38 - 7:47] Because what Marty's doing is beyond illegal and it's not fair to my family or me.
[7:47 - 8:12] And plus, still trying to wrap my head around, you know, the loss of Heather yesterday, that's still playing in my mind as well.
[8:12 - 8:30] But to the Cyrax Nation, just know that I love you guys. You guys are awesome.

[8:39 - 8:49] But as I said, until this thing with Marty gets handled, I need to venture into other things such as writing my artwork.
