[0:07 - 0:13] to show you guys how to take a very simple recording of like a hammer and drum track
[0:13 - 0:21] like a hammer sound effect and basically turn that into a tribal drum beat within literally
[0:21 - 0:27] 5 to 10 minutes and anybody can do this it's super simple to follow along. So if you guys

[0:35 - 0:39] I do already have one free record that I actually recorded earlier because we had some people
[0:39 - 0:44] working on the house so what you're going to do is I'm going to name my hammer so what
[0:44 - 0:49] you're going to do is you're going to go and type in the name of your sound effect
[0:49 - 1:00] for me it's hammer heavy and then basically you're going to go to your open file location
[1:00 - 1:12] and then you're going to drag it into FL Studios and I got mine on a 1, 2, 3, 4 count
[1:12 - 1:26] so it's literally like 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4. Now what you want to do is
[1:26 - 1:31] you want to take and make sure it's aligned up you know perfectly. We're going to do
[1:31 - 1:36] those out right there just because this is the same one I don't want to bore you guys
[1:36 - 1:43] I just want to get right into it but as you guys can tell I got it in there and as you
[1:43 - 1:49] guys can tell like this is what I have to deal with a lot of the times like as you can
[1:49 - 1:54] tell like there's only one thing up here so what I like to do is I like to take and
[1:54 - 2:08] now I can do this. What you do is to fix that you just drag a simple effect from everything
[2:08 - 2:17] in there and then hit delete and then yes. Now because we have a 1, 2, 3, 4 count beat
[2:17 - 2:33] you want to go every 4 for this like 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 and then you want to just
[2:33 - 2:47] drag that across so that you have this. So as you can tell it's right after that the
[2:47 - 2:57] hi hat is right after that boom right after that heavy drum kick and what I like to do
[2:57 - 3:14] is I like to do the same thing with this so go. I like to do something similar to that
[3:14 - 3:31] but for the second video let's go 1, 2, 3, 4. So let's get rid of the kicks and now with
[3:31 - 3:52] this one you want to do every 8 for the snare. So you get this effect. You can hear that
[3:52 - 4:13] a little space in the train. Now this is where things get a little complicated somewhat
[4:13 - 4:18] but I'm going to break it down for you guys. Basically what you want to do is you want
[4:18 - 4:23] to go over here to the master track not 1 or any of these you want to go over here to
[4:23 - 4:31] the master track. You go over here to more plugins and then you want to look for grow
[4:31 - 4:38] speed which for any hip hop artist out there you already know that this thing is like the
[4:38 - 4:45] holy grail for hip hop and EDM music a lot of the times. So what you want to do is you
[4:45 - 4:51] want to go into patterns and then I usually use this one right here where it's got the
[4:51 - 5:14] two drops in the center. So you get that dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum
[5:14 - 5:19] dum dum dum. You want to leave it at that and bear in mind that you're just a bare
[5:19 - 5:29] bone basics of what you can do. And now what you want to do is go back into the plugins
[5:29 - 5:34] and now look for fruity reverb 2 and this I absolutely love this guy I use this a lot
[5:34 - 5:44] with like melodic guitar stuff. I use fruity reverb 2 just because I have more control
[5:44 - 5:50] over like how big of a sound I can get. You can go like, you can't even change the shape
[5:50 - 6:19] of it. Now I usually use this. So I'm going to do this. And this is the one that I use.
[6:19 - 6:40] And then if you want to switch up the style you can. Like if you really want to change
[6:40 - 6:48] up the style you're not like okay with that. Just go back into patterns and you can like
[6:48 - 6:50] change the style you want. Like.
[6:50 - 7:40] Like.
[7:40 - 8:06] Like you can hear like how this thing changes up and I love it. Like Grossvie is one of
[8:06 - 8:16] the best things ever. Basically just go into patterns and you just start messing with stuff.
