2022-11-6 My Official safety advised Retirement from music

[0:00 - 0:28] what's up everybody um i wasn't planning on making this video but i wanted to make this video for the
[0:28 - 0:40] fans that have you know held me down since day one all my friends that have supported me um and all
[0:40 - 0:56] that stuff i had my stream of working on my music last time i sat down with my family and we had a
[0:56 - 1:05] pretty good two hour long discussion about my future and what i really want to do and they know
[1:05 - 1:10] that music has always been a very very big part of me they know that i love doing it they know
[1:10 - 1:19] that i enjoy it that's a part of who i am but due to what happened the other night for my personal
[1:19 - 1:30] safety and the safety of my family i unfortunately and sadly am going to have to retire from music
[1:30 - 1:33] until all this shit gets squared away
[1:33 - 1:41] because they agree and i agree that me doing music
[1:43 - 1:50] if it's going to get me killed then it's not worth it
[1:50 - 2:06] like me doing music isn't worth getting killed over
[2:12 - 2:18] no it's not that i'm getting too big it's just i want to work out for the safety of my family
[2:18 - 2:25] as you guys know i'm a family man i've always been about my family
[2:25 - 2:30] and if that means keeping my family safe from harm then i'm gonna do
[2:30 - 2:38] what to do to keep my family safe it's not about how big i got or anything like that
[2:39 - 2:44] that's not it for me it's about protecting myself and my family from harm
[2:44 - 2:55] because the other night was a very big eye opener for me
[3:03 - 3:09] and the other night was definitely and i can genuinely say this the other night was
[3:09 - 3:17] definitely the scariest moment of my entire life like it truly was the scariest moment of my whole
[3:17 - 3:24] life because it's one of those things that you never think is going to happen to you
[3:24 - 3:35] and when i saw those bullet holes that's when it hit me that
[3:35 - 3:48] i can't take life for granted anymore i can't not do what i love to do
[3:52 - 3:54] and it made me realize that i need
[3:54 - 4:02] you know live every moment to the fullest live every day like it's my last day and
[4:02 - 4:05] that's what i'm going to do starting today
[4:05 - 4:14] and that's why i said out of the safety of my family out of peer safety for myself and my
[4:14 - 4:22] family we all do agree that it's best for me to retire from music and i will be transitioned
[4:22 - 4:29] from music to doing my artwork full-time i'm going to be opening up an art studio
[4:29 - 4:37] to where i'll be selling my artwork on merchandise i'll be selling prints stuff like that
[4:37 - 4:46] because for me there's no amount of money that you can pay me to be a dangerous industry
[4:46 - 4:54] so
[4:54 - 5:08] any idea who the killer was no i don't know but starting tomorrow
[5:08 - 5:10] me and my family are going to start calling around
[5:14 - 5:19] we're going to start calling around to the police departments around here and find out what's going
[5:19 - 5:31] on and the only people that distant songs are those that deserved it
[5:36 - 5:45] but as i said i'm lucky to be alive i'm very lucky to be alive right
[5:45 - 5:53] you know knowing that i almost got killed made me realize
[5:55 - 6:08] that i need to take place and appreciate it more and like i said
[6:08 - 6:16] unfortunately the album that i started working on this morning is put on the back burner for a
[6:16 - 6:27] while um until i do feel comfortable releasing it um i may end up like later on like a week or two
[6:27 - 6:36] maybe three or four weeks you know within the next few months i may end up um releasing a
[6:36 - 6:44] couple of singles if not the whole album but until that day comes and i feel like i'm ready
[6:44 - 6:51] to start doing music again i am stepping away because like i said i don't want my family's
[6:51 - 7:00] lives put in danger any more than it already has been and the other night like i said was a very
[7:00 - 7:07] very big wake-up call for me like it really was the scariest moment of my life that night
[7:08 - 7:15] knowing that i could have died right there within a split second within mere seconds
[7:15 - 7:32] i could have died
[7:42 - 7:51] is honestly scary
[7:51 - 7:59] and like i said i do want to say thank you to all the fans and the people that
[7:59 - 8:06] you know to everybody that has held me down and stood behind me and has supported my decisions
[8:07 - 8:13] i want to say thank you guys for all y'all that have supported my decisions and
[8:13 - 8:20] the direction my life is gone and how everything came about i want to say thank you
[8:20 - 8:30] you know guess what i'm gonna be taking care of danny brown here real soon
[8:32 - 8:38] here pretty soon he won't have a music career left because i'll be showing his label everything
[8:38 - 9:00] that he's done so yeah but effective immediately after the string my music career until i feel
[9:00 - 9:20] comfortable coming back until all this shit is settled and we get the i'm done

[9:49 - 9:57] because one i don't know who that is and i don't do this tracks i hate this tracks
[9:57 - 10:02] i don't like them if anything i think they're a waste of time
[10:02 - 10:08] they're a waste of talent and a waste of good energy
[10:08 - 10:16] and i have no intent on i have no intention on wasting my energy doing something i don't like
[10:16 - 10:21] but with that being said guys
[10:21 - 10:32] i do hope that you guys understand why i'm doing this and i hope you guys understand that
[10:32 - 10:40] this was a decision not only made by me but this was a family decision amongst myself
[10:40 - 10:42] and my entire family
[10:43 - 11:05] and as i said until we catch this person that tried to kill me i'm not going back
[11:05 - 11:11] i'm not going back to doing music until we find the person that tried to kill me
[11:12 - 11:14] and that person has brought in
[11:14 - 11:24] so with that being said y'all
