[0:07 - 0:15] the co-owner of Survival Records along with my brother Sean Sands who is not my
[0:15 - 0:19] brother by blood but he's like literally my best friend he's been my best friend
[0:19 - 0:25] for almost 17 years now he's definitely family somebody very close to me that I
[0:25 - 0:33] knew I could trust like myself he's a music artist entertainer and he's seen a
[0:33 - 0:38] lot of my struggles and seen what I've been through and his have my back
[0:38 - 0:44] through all of it and whatnot so huge props to my brother Sean fucking love
[0:44 - 0:55] you bro but I just want to say welcome to Survival Records me and him started
[0:55 - 1:02] this record label to kind of give artists like ourselves a fair chance at
[1:02 - 1:11] making it in music I come from a very very rough background on YouTube I've
[1:11 - 1:19] done some shit that I shouldn't have done I've had people you know steal
[1:19 - 1:23] products from me I've had people shut down shots on me I've had all kind of
[1:23 - 1:30] stuff happen to me and I figured you know why not give artists like myself
[1:30 - 1:36] and my brother Sean a chance to you know do something you know give them a
[1:36 - 1:41] chance to be able to do what they want to do with their life and whatnot and
[1:41 - 1:48] a lot of people think that like you know me running this label is stupid but
[1:48 - 1:54] it's really not um like I said for the artist said we do sign to the label a
[1:54 - 1:59] lot of people do ask like how do we run in our other contracts there are no
[1:59 - 2:05] contracts at all we're not gonna hold you to you know a record deal forever
[2:05 - 2:09] like we're not gonna do that and we're not gonna keep your masters from you
[2:09 - 2:14] like if you recorded an album or a record or whatever whatever money you
[2:14 - 2:20] make whatever money our artists make they get to keep a hundred percent all
[2:20 - 2:24] that we asked out of that hundred percent of the money that they make off
[2:24 - 2:29] the sales we asked for maybe ten to twenty percent that's it and then the
[2:29 - 2:35] rest they could keep because like them I know what it's like to be a struggling
[2:35 - 2:41] artist because I am that struggling artist I come from a very rough
[2:41 - 2:48] background you know my dad he was military and whatnot so he was never
[2:48 - 2:53] around so I kind of know that feeling I'm not having a dad around so I've had
[2:53 - 2:59] you know teachers and you know my now stepdad who is you know has stepped in
[2:59 - 3:09] and filled that position and whatnot a couple years ago in 2016 I lost my
[3:09 - 3:15] best friend Zach to gang murder he was murdered by a gang thug that ran up in
[3:15 - 3:22] a sandwich shop and killed him I've done lost my brother to my older brother to
[3:22 - 3:29] lung cancer I've lost several friends to different things just last year I lost
[3:29 - 3:35] my ex-girlfriend Lexi to several several problems wrong with her body health
[3:35 - 3:40] wise and whatnot so it's definitely been a struggle it's definitely been hard
[3:40 - 3:44] I've definitely had some hardships and that's kind of why I started this label
[3:44 - 3:49] to kind of show people that you know if you're an artist out here and you're
[3:49 - 3:56] working hard and you're doing what you've got to do you know and you're
[3:56 - 4:03] about you know putting out that positive message and doing good in the
[4:03 - 4:08] world then you know we want you on board because our label is about putting out
[4:08 - 4:14] a positive message and helping people like myself who have been on the edge
[4:14 - 4:18] of suicidal my brother Sean who has gone through many points of depression
[4:18 - 4:23] in his life and whatnot so like you know those are the kind of deal that we
[4:23 - 4:30] do draw in we do welcome you know Christian rap all kinds of you know
[4:30 - 4:36] rap hip-hop whatever kind of music it is you do we welcome it 100% um obviously I
[4:36 - 4:41] do subscribe to the Christian faith I was born and raised a Christian my
[4:41 - 4:48] whole life so obviously you know I keep the rosary around my neck so you know I
[4:48 - 4:53] do try to put out a positive message and that's what this label is about it's
[4:53 - 5:00] about putting out a positive message good vibes good music good people and
[5:00 - 5:12] yeah if you do want to become an artist on the label shoot me an email on my

[5:25 - 5:29] are looking for serious artists we're not looking for no bullshit artists

[5:34 - 5:40] we're out here looking for a very real artists that are serious about their
[5:40 - 5:44] craft that do want to make a difference that do want to put out a good message
[5:44 - 5:52] and you know and give their music a shot to you know showcase what they can
[5:52 - 6:01] do I myself am not struggling artists because you know I've had people shut
[6:01 - 6:08] down music shops of mine I've had people take my music and steal it and
[6:08 - 6:13] claim it as their own and re-upload it I've had people hate all my shit I've
[6:13 - 6:20] had people take and show through my house ready to fucking kill me because
[6:20 - 6:27] of dumb stuff like so I do come from a very rough background but like I said I
[6:27 - 6:32] wanted to start this label with my brother to kind of show that we are
[6:32 - 6:37] very serious about our music and we're very serious about helping other artists
[6:37 - 6:43] that are coming out from the struggle that are dealing with stuff that do
[6:43 - 6:49] come from a rough background like us we don't care about your background as long
[6:49 - 6:54] as you know you're not doing anything stupid to you know jeopardize the
[6:54 - 6:59] labels name or us or making a name for everyone like we don't care what kind
[6:59 - 7:04] of background you come from we don't care if you've been in jail we don't
[7:04 - 7:09] care what kind of background you come from because we come from a group of
[7:09 - 7:17] misfits ourselves you know we come from that group of outcasts ourselves and
[7:17 - 7:25] you know we want to give those outcasts a chance to you know bring their voice
[7:25 - 7:31] to life and let their voice be heard on the label and put out whatever kind of
[7:31 - 7:37] music they want to put out whether that be rock rap hip-hop EDM dubstep country
[7:37 - 7:44] you name it whatever kind of music you do we welcome it we welcome all styles
[7:44 - 7:48] of music we welcome all kinds of music as long as it's you know nothing
[7:48 - 7:55] negative and you're not out here trying to you know diss this guy or you know
[7:55 - 8:00] rip on this person because he ripped on you you know we're not out here about
[8:00 - 8:05] that we're out here to put out a positive message good vibes good music

[8:52 - 8:56] you can keep for yourself the rest of the money sales you can keep for
[8:56 - 9:02] yourselves and what not like that's yours to keep and along with the money
[9:02 - 9:08] that you make you do keep to get to keep your master recordings yes we will
[9:08 - 9:15] have a copy of it but you get to keep the main one we will send you a file by
[9:15 - 9:21] email with the vocals and the beats separate and this on the other so you do
[9:21 - 9:26] get to keep your master recordings a hundred percent like we're not gonna
[9:26 - 9:36] keep that from you at all but yeah welcome to survivor records and keep on
