2021-6-20 Explaining why i left

[0:00 - 0:16] What's up guys it's your boy, you know what it is. If you guys are not knowing my name is Chance, I'm 30 years old and I am a former YouTuber.
[0:16 - 0:20] And for those of you that do know me, hello.
[0:20 - 0:34] And a lot of you are probably wondering why it is that I left and why it is that I may not come back.
[0:34 - 0:47] It's not that I don't enjoy YouTube, I very much enjoy YouTube. I really do, I enjoy creating content, I enjoy having fun.
[0:47 - 1:05] But something I've noticed over the last several months is that YouTube has gone to a very toxic place where YouTube is now rewarding negative behavior.
[1:05 - 1:19] It is allowing people to troll so far to an extent that there have been many YouTubers that have ended their lives.
[1:19 - 1:37] That have actually committed suicide because of how negative YouTube is being, how bad things are getting and it's not good.
[1:37 - 1:45] It's getting to be very toxic. I myself am a victim of this stuff.
[1:45 - 1:58] I myself felt for a troll which was an illegal one and I had the police come out here and they gave me a warning, all kinds of stuff.
[1:58 - 2:16] But for about 3 to 4 years, maybe 7 years now, I have been harassed, I have been bullied, I have been trolled.
[2:16 - 2:29] I have had opportunities that I have worked very hard for taking away from me. Opportunities such as sponsorships for gaming.
[2:29 - 2:42] Every time I would open up a shop for my merchandise, a troll would come in and delete it just because.
[2:42 - 2:57] Without warning, I would upload merchandise to my shop one night and I would go to promote it to my true fans and stuff.
[2:57 - 3:01] And those that do support me.
[3:01 - 3:12] And next day I would roll around and I would go to upload more stuff to my shop and it would be deleted.
[3:12 - 3:20] Like the shop would be shut down instantly without warning.
[3:20 - 3:29] Many people have attacked me because I do a type of digital artwork that is known as fair use artwork.
[3:29 - 3:40] Where I take an art piece or I take an image and I turn it into a really cool art piece where I'm very transformative with it.
[3:40 - 3:52] People have stolen money from me. I've lost many record deals because you guys may or may not know.
[3:52 - 3:59] If you don't know, I do music as well as artwork and gaming and all this other stuff.
[3:59 - 4:13] But I've lost record deals because of it. I've lost friends. I've had friends that have stopped talking to me.
[4:13 - 4:24] I've had people pretend to be my friend and stab me in the back and that's not what I want for myself.
[4:24 - 4:32] I want to be able to make a living. I want to be able to make a legitimate living doing what I'm about to do.
[4:32 - 4:51] Whether that be my artwork, whether that be gaming, whether that be my music. Whatever it may be, I want to make a living doing that.
[4:51 - 5:03] But with all these trolls coming in and basically ripping everything from me, it's very hard to do.
[5:03 - 5:17] Especially now that they have plastered my face and my name on adult websites. They have created a kiwi farms on me.
[5:17 - 5:27] They have done just all kinds of negative stuff on me that I have no control over.
[5:27 - 5:38] They made me out to be a monster that I'm not and I don't need to be around that.
[5:38 - 5:45] I don't need to be around that negativity.
[5:45 - 5:56] Those are a few other reasons as to why I left YouTube because I'm tired of being bullied.
[5:56 - 6:04] I'm tired of having opportunities ripped away from me.
[6:04 - 6:14] I'm tired of the negativity. I'm tired of being made out to be a monster that I'm not.
[6:14 - 6:22] I'm tired of opportunities being ripped away from me.
[6:22 - 6:36] I don't need the hatred. I don't need the bullying. I don't need any of it.
[6:36 - 6:48] Now, maybe one day I'll come back. Maybe one day when all this negative crap is done,
[6:48 - 7:01] I will return under a whole new name and hopefully be able to draw in a more suited crowd to what I'm doing.
[7:01 - 7:09] And not a crowd that is trolling or wants to bully me just because.
[7:09 - 7:13] As I said, I'm not the only YouTuber that goes through this.
[7:13 - 7:31] There have been many YouTubers that I know that I've left because of this reason.
[7:31 - 7:41] And I just feel like YouTube needs to get their shit together before I come back.
[7:41 - 7:51] I do apologize for the sudden leave and the sudden deletion of my account,
[7:51 - 8:03] but I think you guys deserve to know the truth about what's really going on and about why I left.
[8:03 - 8:13] What's not that I wanted to is that I needed to do it for myself. I needed to get away from the negativity.
[8:13 - 8:27] I needed a change. I needed to escape the dark, evil side of YouTube that I don't want to be associated with.
[8:27 - 8:33] As I said, I do artwork and music mostly.
[8:33 - 8:41] And I've had a lot of opportunities ripped away from me because of these trolls.
[8:41 - 8:45] Because of the rumors that they spread about me.
[8:45 - 8:51] Because of the false things that they spread about me and they get people to believe.
[8:51 - 8:59] And I just, I don't need that. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.
[8:59 - 9:06] So I said hopefully one day I'll come back, but for those that have supported my main channel,
[9:06 - 9:13] I hope you guys understand now as to why I left.
[9:13 - 9:22] And why I will be staying away for a long while and trying to figure some things out
[9:22 - 9:31] on how I can get my artwork and my music out there without going through YouTube.
[9:31 - 9:42] Because YouTube has ultimately become very toxic and I don't want to be part of it.
[9:42 - 9:51] I don't want to be part of a toxic community where all people do is bash on me and bully and attack me.
[9:51 - 9:58] I want to be part of a community where I can help people, where people support what I do,
[9:58 - 10:12] where I'm not being bullied or attacked every five seconds or just having all this negative bad stuff happen to me.
[10:12 - 10:28] But what Debbie didn't say guys, I do hope that this video explains why I left, what's going on and what I have planned for myself.
[10:28 - 10:38] To all my people out there that have supported me this whole time, just know that I do love you guys immensely.
[10:38 - 10:47] You guys have been so amazing. You guys have been truly wonderful and I thank you guys for that.
[10:47 - 10:57] I thank you guys for everything that you guys have allowed me to do and helped me to do.
[10:57 - 11:07] And just being there to support me, I thank you guys so much for everything.
[11:07 - 11:16] And there's not enough words in the world to say thank you or how grateful I am to you guys.
[11:16 - 11:30] But yeah, hopefully this explains everything and shows you guys what's really going on and why I left.
[11:30 - 11:43] But just know that I'm okay, my family's okay, and hopefully one day I'll be able to come back.
[11:43 - 11:51] Hopefully one day I'll be able to come back when YouTube gets its shit together and things aren't so negative.
[11:51 - 11:59] And I'm not so hated for no reason.
