[2:42 - 2:52] don't have our licenses or are unable to drive for whatever reason

[2:56 - 3:03] you know like me by choice or whether you physically cannot
[3:03 - 3:12] drive for whatever reason for people I mean doing stuff like Fords uh
[3:12 - 3:21] like the crew the crew too um I said of course uh need for speed like
[3:21 - 3:26] those are all the closest things we have to real life
[3:26 - 3:39] like people hold car meets on these kinds of games all the time
[3:39 - 3:50] yes it is matter of fact um Gran Turismo was featured in the Tokyo Olympics this
[3:50 - 4:06] year honestly it saves on money honestly
[4:06 - 4:09] and really does like for me it would save
[4:09 - 4:16] oh it saves a lot more money honestly because you gotta pay all that insurance
[4:16 - 4:20] all this all that when you can save that money
[4:20 - 4:26] for you know doing stuff that you want to do and buying what you want to buy like
[4:26 - 4:32] take all that money you put into a car like take all the money that you put
[4:32 - 4:35] into a car for a year imagine what you can do with that
[4:35 - 4:39] money for your house the bills you can pay off
[4:39 - 4:42] the mortgage you could try to get paid off
[4:42 - 4:46] the stuff you can buy for your house that you might need
[4:46 - 5:19] and plus there's always a little thing called public transportation
[5:19 - 5:30] so in Marty honestly you're talking to Sony that literally
[5:30 - 5:38] like I know most people my age usually have a car by now and yada yada yada
[5:38 - 5:46] but for me honestly I enjoyed this kind of driving like it's fun
[5:46 - 5:49] and plus one thing about driving like this
[5:49 - 5:53] like in sim racing rigs you can essentially
[5:53 - 6:00] drive cars that you would never get to see
[6:00 - 6:05] in real life like you get to drive cars that
[6:05 - 6:10] most people on average don't ever get to see
[6:10 - 6:18] in their entire lives now me I did get lucky I actually did get to see in
[6:18 - 6:23] mclaren 520s up close and personal and yes I did get
[6:23 - 6:32] a photo of it it's actually on my facebook
[6:32 - 6:38] so that for me was essentially the closest thing
[6:38 - 6:54] to a dream come true then I could have imagined
[6:54 - 6:58] and trust me that mclaren 520s was beautiful too
[6:58 - 7:07] not even a lot I think was so sick I know you're wrong I love going to you
[7:07 - 7:11] know car meets and stuff like that I love going to car meets those are a
[7:11 - 7:15] lot of fun I've been to a bunch of them I've gone to car shows
[7:15 - 7:35] those are definitely a lot of fun I'm already something that you fail to
[7:35 - 7:47] realize is that you know e-sports like sim racing
[7:47 - 7:57] are now becoming a wide known motorsport
[7:57 - 8:04] because like I said Gran Turismo was featured in the Tokyo Olympics this
[8:04 - 8:08] year they actually had a competition
[8:08 - 8:13] in the Tokyo Olympics through Gran Turismo
[8:13 - 8:24] which means doing racing like this is essentially a motorsport
[8:24 - 8:29] and for people like me whether you're on street or on
[8:29 - 8:33] you know a racetrack whatever at the end of the day it's just like real life
[8:33 - 8:43] dude racing is racing all the same and Marty you see
[8:43 - 8:58] you seem to forget something you're talking to someone that essentially has
[8:58 - 9:06] every car in horizon 4 dude you're talking to someone that runs with one of
[9:06 - 9:20] the most prominent drift teams in the world you seem to forget Marty that
[9:20 - 9:29] the envy drift mafia is essentially a very high value
[9:29 - 9:42] racetrack while yes our main style is drifting a lot of people like myself
[9:42 - 10:02] you drive because we enjoy the culture we enjoy the cars
[10:02 - 10:15] I mean shit look at this like you want a super real ACRS rally style here you go
[10:15 - 10:18] you want a varth which is a super cool car by the way

[18:24 - 18:27] Mia Zeno's got track position Mopar in the middle bit of a sandwich there
[18:27 - 18:30] it's out goes the long way around the outside it's all continuing up through
[18:30 - 18:33] those couple of corners it's Alan's the driver who makes on top big
[18:33 - 18:36] outside there from Baptiste Mopar Andrew Proctor in the box the next
[18:36 - 18:39] there as well as he hits his elbow he's out early doors after a difficult
[18:39 - 18:42] qualified he's on the inside and he's into the side of
[18:42 - 18:44] Baptiste Mopar he's off the track Mopar so two
[18:44 - 18:47] wins from two races and disaster on the ending lap
[18:47 - 18:51] and he's hit by Cyril Kyler as well oh it's disaster
[18:51 - 18:56] for Baptiste Mopar all the way down to the back of the field now and he has it
[18:56 - 19:01] all to do and this is double points this is the worst possible outcome for that
[19:01 - 19:06] four seconds off and meanwhile at the front Andrew
[19:06 - 19:09] Proctor the rocket start of course on that soft compounder tie
[19:09 - 19:14] he's now coming down the hill towards the heavy breakers and right hander
[19:14 - 19:17] him the inside wants to try and get by
[19:17 - 19:20] it's now side by side coming up to Chichain it's very very much one at
[19:20 - 19:22] time for here Brooks gets onto the bar

[19:26 - 19:30] medium compound if we're trying to do his best to keep that position
[19:30 - 19:32] and hold up the soft runners for as long as possible
[19:32 - 19:35] trying to run through the Chichain there as they run out to the launch
[19:35 - 19:38] so as you see an actual sport
[19:38 - 19:41] so Brooks got the soft tire as his measler in front
[19:41 - 19:44] it says Alan Moysov who are the drivers that he looked at because they
[19:44 - 19:47] are on the medium compounded tire and of course they're going to be
[19:47 - 19:50] significantly slower than those drivers behind in the opening sector this
[19:50 - 19:54] race and they know that Hazal has got defensive as has Moysov there as well
[19:54 - 19:56] but Measler knows he's got the over speed he's got track position and he's
[19:56 - 19:59] at the slip through there as well the only setting crazy at the check
[19:59 - 20:02] driver in third place is that he's got the slip through to pick up Hazal
[20:02 - 20:04] he trugs onto the break into the Chichain we go
[20:04 - 20:07] Hazal there does just ready to hold on to second position for now
[20:07 - 20:10] but they're coming into the infield section and that is where we're
[20:10 - 20:14] going to see the soft tires really have an advantage yeah
[20:14 - 20:18] yeah that hell you even got guys like this
[20:18 - 20:45] wrapping that shit
[20:45 - 20:48] so violent anytime you do a chance to jump a train
[20:48 - 20:57] oh you got this man rockin horizon four here in park city
[20:57 - 21:00] utah we're down here in the racine division and today
[21:00 - 21:06] we're going to be playing some video games with Ken Block
[21:06 - 21:09] that is true you do i see your heart to work already
[21:09 - 21:13] today Ken's going to run us through his top five favorite things about
[21:13 - 21:18] fours of horizon four see even this man rocks horizon four
[21:18 - 21:21] the unicorn in jumping it off some containers and
[21:21 - 21:25] doing some wild stuff and i don't think you normally get to do with that
[21:25 - 21:30] i mean a lot of the things about fours of horizon four is like it's the
[21:30 - 21:33] unicorn and the unicorn yeah i think it's super rare but
[21:33 - 21:38] they're able to take any car like this in real life is
[21:38 - 21:42] quite a beast and be able to put it into the game
[21:42 - 21:47] in a very realistic way not only taking the actual car itself and dropping it
[21:47 - 21:51] in there in such a unique way but even to the point of working with me on the way
[21:51 - 21:54] that it handles and the acceleration of it all that
[21:54 - 21:58] because it is such an amazing car and it is so violent with
[21:58 - 22:02] 1400 horsepower that actually translate that into a game
[22:02 - 22:06] it's pretty impressive and and there was a point too when i was up
[22:06 - 22:11] in seattle at fours of studios i was able to sit and play the game
[22:11 - 22:15] and give them you know direct feedback right before the game was done
[22:15 - 22:19] be able to manipulate them and making it even more wild so
[22:19 - 22:23] it's not often you get to tell them hey this car is like a
[22:23 - 22:26] 11 out of 10 so we need the game to feel that way
[22:26 - 22:32] and they did it really in the game the unicorn is one of the fastest most
[22:32 - 22:36] violent cars in the game that's because i was able to go there and give them
[22:36 - 22:39] that feedback and they listened and made it work so
[22:39 - 22:43] thank you i'm super happy to actually have that work out so
[22:43 - 22:46] you know not only did they do such a good job as you can see here
[22:46 - 22:50] looking at the car itself as we cruise around the ground with the jimcon 10
[22:50 - 22:53] livery on there all the details of sponsors like
[22:53 - 22:58] monster and hudigan and fours up but just the way that it drives it just drives
[22:58 - 23:02] so violent and granted this surface right now doesn't help because there's a
[23:02 - 23:06] bunch of water on the ground so it kind of torqued
[23:06 - 23:10] skiers everywhere all by itself and really stoked on how well they did
[23:10 - 23:14] putting this together and really kind of making it feel just as violent
[23:14 - 23:18] as it is in real life yeah definitely one of my favorite things about
[23:18 - 23:24] fours are rising fours new motorized nerve ultra select
[23:24 - 23:29] to distance with the ultra dark
[23:29 - 23:35] let's find my favorite giant ridiculous jump all right so we're on the fortune
[23:35 - 23:39] island which is an island off the main map of the game
[23:39 - 23:43] and this is one of my favorite spots in the entire game
[23:43 - 23:48] and one of the image so you gotta go take the mission oh just passing ours to
[23:48 - 23:52] the video you also passed another intro earlier yeah yeah
[23:52 - 23:56] i'll take the image off while floating here
[23:56 - 24:04] oh and rock yeah we're gonna go climb up on the top part of the sideline
[24:04 - 24:08] and it was really grand jump for the life that's just one of those things
[24:08 - 24:12] that i enjoy playing these games for the series from a safe stuff
[24:12 - 24:15] i enjoy it for all the different cars and trying out different cars and see how
[24:15 - 24:18] they handle it but i also like to just play
[24:18 - 24:22] coming from skateboarding and snowboarding as a kid but it's all about
[24:22 - 24:28] taking a fun toy like a skateboard and interact with
[24:28 - 24:31] you know your surroundings and your kid flips off stuff you know snowboarding
[24:31 - 24:35] jump off whenever you can the same with the video game like this find
[24:35 - 24:40] the craziest stuff that you can and jump your car so here we have the
[24:40 - 24:44] uh the truck it's a very fun train and long top
[24:44 - 24:48] whoo that's right wow that's a little piece of what
[24:48 - 24:51] i've done to the one straight oh
[24:54 - 24:57] wow you're man my stacked it a little bit so

[25:08 - 25:13] in comparison between the hoonah truck and hoonah corn as far as the driving
[25:13 - 25:15] experience goes obviously it's like comparing apples and
[25:15 - 25:18] oranges here but you know what if you had to like if you had to
[25:18 - 25:22] compare them at all the hoonah truck isn't quite as violent
[25:22 - 25:26] the hoonah corn is just ridiculously violent
[25:26 - 25:30] sometimes quite hard to drive
[25:40 - 25:48] the video game really does capture that oh by the way again notice we're actually
[25:48 - 25:58] playing off that's based on the june come at ten libraries
[25:58 - 26:02] and they made us a couple sets of them and we used
[26:02 - 26:08] a set to give a bunch to fans uh and i still have four left there's a little
[26:08 - 26:13] more better in the shelf just xboxes on xboxes
[26:13 - 26:18] so all of them in the set match the different cars from june cut
[26:18 - 26:22] and one of them is missing because we sent it to
[26:22 - 26:26] desperate welcome desperate well he did all the
[26:26 - 26:30] deliveries for the june cut of ten cars so i definitely thought he deserved an
[26:30 - 26:36] xbox there are things about fours horizon four
[26:36 - 26:41] is uh just the way that fans were able to make their own
[26:41 - 26:44] deliveries on all sorts of cars but specifically
[26:44 - 26:48] changed deliveries on my car and so it's kind of funny to even see
[26:48 - 26:52] you know changes they've made to the existing liveries that we have
[26:52 - 26:55] like the june kind of ten livery a lot with that in my
[26:55 - 26:59] new chloe leaf livery here by churnpaller um
[26:59 - 27:04] lit up in their 2019 livery by chloe leaf but on
[27:04 - 27:09] my old car and you're someone that made a rusty rat style design on the old
[27:09 - 27:14] coffee the super rat ivar ratty now so this is
[27:14 - 27:18] genuinely one of my favorite things they'll like shellshock 512
[27:18 - 27:21] did our launch livery just like a plain white
[27:21 - 27:26] simple livery with an old rebsal livery which is what that one of the liveries
[27:26 - 27:31] that this car ran on in the early 90s so the the funny thing is that you know
[27:31 - 27:34] i do go look at this stuff i'll select one of my cars
[27:34 - 27:39] and then go in and just see some of the different stuff that the fans do
[27:39 - 27:42] on these cars and like there's a crazy hoonigan one there with cream
[27:42 - 27:47] wheels and a big hoonigan logo purple you know accents
[27:47 - 27:52] believe that there's a nice and red just street car that looks dope
[27:52 - 27:57] alpine stores livery crazy monster livery this hoonigan one okay i think we
[27:57 - 28:00] found a chic car livery in here someplace didn't we
[28:00 - 28:04] yeah it's keep going over okay it's nice pink and pink in my purple
[28:05 - 28:10] area yeah owls made us a chic car livery on the
[28:10 - 28:17] cosy yeah buddy oh yeah we have a moody nice
[28:17 - 28:20] now i know what a livery pattern would look like on my cosy
[28:20 - 28:25] ton come holler at us we're gonna end on this one right here but
[28:25 - 28:30] this is a nice rendition of the original launch livery that ford used on the
[28:30 - 28:33] cosy when they start racing it i think they raced it for the first time in
[28:33 - 28:38] spain and won a one a rally with it and it was in the livery that looks just like
[28:38 - 28:44] that so there's a lot of more serious races
[28:44 - 28:47] in horizon 4 but there's also some really fun stuff one of my favorite one
[28:47 - 28:52] tiers called flying scotsman and uh i i race all these with my kids
[28:52 - 28:56] i try and help them find little secret stuff to be faster and
[28:56 - 29:01] and be quicker through there and never let them beat me
[29:01 - 29:07] i always find the most little tricks but there's also great things to learn just
[29:07 - 29:11] like braking early and connecting turns and there's actually a set of
[29:11 - 29:15] turns at the end of this where you have to get the first turn right to set you up
[29:15 - 29:19] to go through the second turn fast so anyway it's one of my favorite ones
[29:19 - 29:24] it's in the snow racing a train it's quite ridiculous the idea of it
[29:24 - 29:27] but i think that's what makes it pretty fun bringing my suit with the top hat
[29:28 - 29:32] nice good look i belong there today i also i respect that you don't uh
[29:32 - 29:36] like let up on your kids because you know what it teaches them to keep pushing
[29:36 - 29:39] harder hey my my daughter beat me carting here today
[29:39 - 29:44] and she's on kind of lighted me but i left the door open a little too wide she just
[29:44 - 29:46] stopped her cart there i want you to tell a little bit time
[29:46 - 29:50] left the idea to beat these kids i'm getting that good
[29:50 - 29:54] okay that's like i said this isn't a you know fun a fun sort of fantasy type
[29:54 - 30:01] race you're racing a train in a puggy you know also it's a fun little course
[30:01 - 30:06] short catch you can take the water splash so this follows the train tracks through
[30:06 - 30:11] yeah so the train has its own set basic train type course
[30:11 - 30:14] you've got like a fun course sort of crazy vendors and
[30:14 - 30:19] town you know towns and bridges and the tunnel here
[30:19 - 30:22] sometimes if you get the right spot the train lines may hit you
[30:23 - 30:29] faster than you can see now they train boost yeah we get the train boost you
[30:29 - 30:31] can't but i don't think i'd be able to get it today
[30:31 - 30:34] one of the people that's in real time i'm missing this
[30:34 - 30:38] i guess a short cut here
[30:38 - 30:41] well i think that we can do a chance to jump the train
[30:41 - 31:15] i don't get that slow in i look moments is the train train
[31:15 - 31:20] watching it we're doing it so it's so early to turn time

[31:29 - 31:32] you know there's going to be a chance to get service
[31:32 - 31:36] so it's great that you know it's a fantasy type race
[31:36 - 31:39] but it's still basic racing principles like
[31:39 - 31:44] making early for this turn so you can line up that next turn
[31:44 - 31:48] it's important it's a sort of thing with you know like
[31:48 - 31:51] talking about that stuff with my kids and trying to
[31:51 - 31:54] hit that one to be quicker and quicker
[31:54 - 32:02] i'll give you some time the top had a pure class
[32:02 - 32:06] three oh two no i've been in like the two 98 somewhere on there before so
[32:06 - 32:10] i mean for sit down just playing this without later for a while
[32:10 - 32:13] that's all right it's fun though i mean like i said
[32:13 - 32:16] silly there's other much serious races in here but
[32:16 - 32:21] yeah great fantasy style race and still can use
[32:21 - 32:27] you know fun driving type skills to make it through quick
[32:27 - 32:32] one of my genuinely favorite things about riser four is just seeing all the
[32:32 - 32:36] different fan videos that people make doing like june counter type stuff
[32:36 - 32:41] with my various cars with other various cars
[32:41 - 32:44] but yeah let's uh let's show some of those because uh
[32:44 - 32:48] people have recorded stuff and then put it up like an instagram and facebook
[32:48 - 32:51] and it looks really rad like i love seeing some of that stuff
[32:51 - 32:55] all right so roll a couple of those fan clips
