2021-1-14 Discussing my plans After next week

[0:54 - 1:00] There's something that I've been wanting to explain to you guys and that's a lot of people have been asking me
[1:00 - 1:06] Why am I retiring from music vocally and y'all why am I doing all this other stuff?
[1:06 - 1:09] Well, there's a reason why
[1:09 - 1:21] Um as you guys know next week, I'm dropping my first ever
[1:23 - 1:29] Photography book and it's also going to be the world's first 3D card photography book
[1:29 - 1:32] So that's definitely huge to be
[1:32 - 1:35] You know making history
[1:35 - 1:39] You know publishing the world's first 3D card photography book
[1:39 - 1:42] Like that's huge in itself
[1:42 - 1:47] But also the fact that I'm self-publishing it is even bigger
[1:49 - 1:54] But I got that coming up and then as you guys know next month
[1:54 - 1:58] Um, I have my
[1:58 - 2:01] New metal album dropping
[2:01 - 2:04] Shadowborn I have that dropping next month
[2:04 - 2:11] But it's something that not a lot of people realize is why or even understanding
[2:11 - 2:15] Why I'm stepping away from
[2:18 - 2:23] Music and there's a big reason for that. There's a very big reason for that
[2:23 - 2:34] This is something that I didn't want to put out there
[2:34 - 2:39] But I kind of feel like it needs to be put out there for you guys to be able to understand
[2:47 - 2:53] About a month and a half ago. If y'all remember about a month and a half ago. I did a real huge
[2:53 - 2:58] Stream that was like three to four hours long
[2:58 - 3:04] It was an entire, you know cover show and I know some of y'all remember that show
[3:04 - 3:09] I did about a three to four hour, you know show
[3:09 - 3:12] on here and
[3:14 - 3:18] Something happened. I didn't say anything about that. I actually did go to the doctors about
[3:18 - 3:24] That's about an hour after that show I began to cough up blood
[3:24 - 3:29] So right away I went to the doctors like right off the bat
[3:29 - 3:36] You know, I went straight to the doctors like right off hand
[3:36 - 3:41] I was like yo, like something's going on. I'm coughing up blood like I have an injury like what's going on and
[3:42 - 3:44] the doctor did tell me that I
[3:44 - 3:47] Do need to step down for music
[3:47 - 3:49] vocally
[3:49 - 3:53] Because I've been pushing myself for over 10 years
[3:53 - 3:57] So hard so much that if I didn't step down
[3:57 - 4:00] And take it easy
[4:00 - 4:03] That I could potentially lose my voice
[4:03 - 4:06] Now me being the dumbass that I am
[4:06 - 4:10] at that time I decided to keep pushing it and
[4:12 - 4:16] Today when I was working with my brother Eric on some new stuff
[4:16 - 4:23] My throat began to get that feeling that it did that same night when everything went bad
[4:23 - 4:30] So, you know for me not only and I you know
[4:30 - 4:33] You know not only am I kind of glad
[4:33 - 4:40] That I'm stepping down vocally, but it also does give me a chance to explore some other things
[4:41 - 4:43] all at the same time
[4:43 - 4:47] You know, it definitely does suck, you know
[4:47 - 4:52] I know I should have been doing these shows like I've been doing and I get that
[4:52 - 4:55] Like I understand that
[4:55 - 5:01] But I'm the kind of guy that you know music's been a part of me for so long
[5:01 - 5:06] That you know, like it's ingrained into me
[5:06 - 5:09] like
[5:09 - 5:11] Hell my brother Eric scrub
[5:11 - 5:15] He put it best just a few minutes ago. He's like, bro
[5:15 - 5:21] You're my dr. Dre. I'm your M&M and he's right like
[5:21 - 5:24] I'm the dude that
[5:24 - 5:28] You know comes up with these insane ideas
[5:28 - 5:36] For you know instrumental work like y'all have seen what I can do
[5:38 - 5:41] with classical renditions of songs
[5:41 - 5:47] I got lucky over time. Like I got lucky
[5:47 - 5:51] Being able to do this stuff that I do. I got very lucky with that shit
[5:51 - 5:56] All right. I got very lucky. Like I said, I didn't want to step down
[5:56 - 6:04] But you know what else can I do like it's either risk losing my voice
[6:05 - 6:10] Or step down and save my voice and potentially come back later on down the road. I
[6:10 - 6:14] Said I'm not done singing for good
[6:14 - 6:31] Like I said, I'm not done singing for good but I do need to take that step down and
[6:32 - 6:35] You know and step away from
[6:35 - 6:37] You know doing things vocally
[6:37 - 6:44] Like it does suck is like I love recording. I love being in the booth. I love writing lyrics
[6:44 - 6:47] I love you know telling my story. I absolutely
[6:47 - 6:52] Enjoy that to the fullest extent without a doubt
[6:52 - 7:01] But after what happened a few minutes ago when I was talking to my brother Eric like
[7:02 - 7:08] I'm not willing to go down that route again. Like I don't want to end back up in the hospital. Yeah. Hey
[7:08 - 7:15] You know, I fucked up. I didn't listen. Like how would I like one foot is like, how would I look?
[7:15 - 7:23] If I went into the hospital and telling that same doctor who's been my doctor for years

[7:31 - 7:44] On a side note though, like there is a good side to it, you know

[9:06 - 9:11] You have another opportunity to do something else that you enjoy
[9:11 - 9:15] So take that opportunity
[9:16 - 9:23] And you know do other stuff that you enjoy, you know work on instrumental work work on, you know
[9:23 - 9:26] your book work work on
[9:26 - 9:29] You know doing other something you enjoy
[9:29 - 9:37] You know, so I'm kind of seeing it as you know, God's closing one door for me open and opening up another one

[10:07 - 10:15] You know, I like I said, I see what's going on me as God telling me hey

[10:37 - 10:42] I see it as God closing one door for me and opening up a whole new one the whole new world of

[10:51 - 10:55] I'm self-publishing my second book
[10:55 - 10:59] In my life
[10:59 - 11:02] You know doing other shit

[11:10 - 11:16] Lot of people have been wondering did I self-publish a book? Yes, I did

[11:20 - 11:25] I'm actually self-publish this back in 2018

[11:29 - 11:32] My photo and everything on it right there
[11:33 - 11:36] This is actually the first book I actually ever published
[11:36 - 11:43] It's not anywhere else. I'm actually did it for family and friends only kind of thing
[11:43 - 11:49] So, you know, it was pretty cool. You know, I got to publish something for my friends and family to read and whatnot
[11:49 - 11:54] So I mean it's definitely something that I can honestly say that I'm proud of
[11:54 - 12:01] So, you know, like I love writing books. I've always loved writing. I've always loved doing photography
[12:02 - 12:07] I've always loved artworks. So, you know, I figured why not take what I love
[12:07 - 12:10] to that next level and
[12:10 - 12:15] You know do something with it, you know
[12:15 - 12:20] How many pages is this

[12:23 - 12:29] He went to the final age. I said I did this one for just family and friends only so it was pretty cool
