[0:00 - 0:16] What's up guys, it's Roy. I did want to talk about something real quick. First I want to say good morning to everybody. What's up? Hopefully you guys are having a beautiful, beautiful Sunday morning today.
[0:16 - 0:26] But there are a few things that I do want to talk about that I feel that are, you know, important.
[0:26 - 0:51] For starters, yes, the album is still dropping in March, but to be honest, I'm actually doing a lot of thinking and a lot of talking with some of my friends and my family and associates that I, well, not really associates, but people that I talk to.
[0:51 - 1:03] Cause like here, like, I'm just feeling like there's just really nothing for me in music right now.
[1:03 - 1:13] And like, I've really been feeling like, you know, I'm kind of distancing myself away from it for that reason, actually.
[1:13 - 1:27] If you guys notice, I want to put out music every once in a great while. You know, like, I don't put it out on a daily basis like I used to.
[1:27 - 1:47] And not that I don't enjoy doing music, but I just really feel like my life is starting to go in that different direction of, you know, wanting to go back to doing, you know, artwork and gaming and stuff like that.
[1:47 - 2:13] And I know a lot of people are going to be, you know, mad about that because, you know, they're not going to, you know, get any new music after March, but for me, it's just like, you know, I grew up doing artwork my whole entire life.
[2:13 - 2:21] You know, I grew up doing artwork my whole life.
[2:21 - 2:27] And then when I got into high school, that's when I got into doing music.
[2:27 - 2:37] But here recently, you know, I just been feeling like I just don't have that drive to do it like I used to.
[2:37 - 2:55] And I'm not the one that goes through that. There's a lot of, you know, artists out there that do go through that stride of, you know, doing music for so long and then you just get burnt out on it.
[2:55 - 3:20] You know, that's kind of where I'm at is like I've done it for so long that I'm just, I'm burnt out on it, you know, which is why this is, which is why I'm actually, you know, I know a lot of people are going to hate this because I know I said it multiple times and I've tried to step away.
[3:20 - 3:32] But now that I have that real shot this step away, I'm actually taking it.
[3:32 - 3:40] Which is why I actually am going to be retiring from music for good.
[3:40 - 3:49] I am still going to put out the album in March. That is going to be one thing I still am going to do. I am going to put that out for you guys and sell that to you guys.
[3:49 - 3:56] I know a lot of you guys are very amped up for that album.
[3:56 - 4:07] So, you know, I am going to put that out for you guys. But, you know, I just really feel like my life is taking another direction that I need to follow.
[4:07 - 4:21] You know, I've been doing music for so long and doing what other people wanted it. I never really got the chance to dive into stuff that I never really got the chance to do.
[4:21 - 4:40] You know, I never really got the chance to sit down and actually put out a book. I never got the chance to actually sit down and, you know, do what I love to do with my artwork.
[4:40 - 4:54] I just kind of feel like, you know, it's time that I take that step and, you know, do stuff that I really have been wanting to do for a very long time now.
[4:54 - 5:06] It's not that I haven't enjoyed doing music because I love doing it. I've absolutely enjoyed it immensely and I will always hold a special spot for that.
[5:06 - 5:15] But right now I feel like I need to take my life in the direction that I've been wanting it to go in.
[5:15 - 5:44] Oh, yes.
[5:44 - 6:42] Okay.
[6:42 - 6:47] Sorry, I was hearing something out there. I had to go try and see what it was.
[6:47 - 7:08] But, you know, like I was saying, you know, I just really feel like my life is going in that different direction that, you know, I really want to, you know, focus on, you know, like, you know, I want to give back into doing the cruise and chill streams.
[7:08 - 7:14] I want to give back into, you know, doing my artwork, you know, full time.
[7:14 - 7:42] You know, like I said, doing artwork is something that I grew up doing my whole life, you know, I've been drawing since I was a kid. And, you know, doing my artwork is something that's always been very very close to me even in school, like, you know,
[7:42 - 7:59] I mean, you know, but like, you know, I want to be able to do these things, you know, I want to be able to step away from doing music and doing what I truly enjoy doing.
[7:59 - 8:05] Not the way it says, not that I don't enjoy doing music, it's just I've done it for so long.
[8:05 - 8:12] I've done so much of it, then you know, I'm kind of getting to that point where I'm getting burnt out on it.
[8:12 - 8:23] Meaning I'm kind of losing the drive to do it. I'm not finding the inspiration that I wanted to find to do it, you know.
[8:23 - 8:34] And I just kind of feel like, you know, right now I need to step away from it for a good long while, not counting, not counting the drop in March, the drop in March, I'm still very excited for that.
[8:34 - 8:38] I'm super stoked about that.
[8:38 - 8:47] I mean, you know, in my 11 years of doing music, I've dropped two back to back albums and I'm working on a third.
[8:47 - 8:55] So literally I will have dropped and released three albums in a row within three years of each other.
[8:55 - 9:03] Well, the first two were more within a few months, but the other ones were, but that's the one coming out this late.
[9:03 - 9:13] It's been about, let's see, it's been about four years since I dropped my last album.
[9:13 - 9:31] You know, 2018 is when I released my last album, which is Evolution. And, you know, ever since I haven't really done much since then, you know.
[9:31 - 9:46] But there is also a series I'm going to be doing that's going to be strictly for Twitch, something I wanted to run by you guys may see what you guys thought.
[9:46 - 9:55] I actually had this idea because right now I can't find my mic set up for Twitch, but I do have my camera.
[9:55 - 10:05] What I was thinking is doing this.
[10:05 - 10:21] But what I was thinking of doing is this, where I did a stream called "Drifter" where I basically take a stream on Twitch and I'll have my camera on me.
[10:21 - 10:28] I'll have my face cam on and shit so you guys will be able to see me, but you won't hear it.
[10:28 - 10:41] And what I was thinking about doing is making it interesting, you know, like taking different cars from the Forza franchise and either drifting them, driving them, and doing whatever.
[10:41 - 10:49] Like that's just something I had in mind and whatnot, you know, just kind of chill out, cruise, have a good time.
[10:49 - 11:01] Now I will be able to answer you guys' questions by text, like I'll still type back in the chat.
[11:01 - 11:10] But like that's just an idea that I had, you know, I just kind of wanted to throw it out there and see what, you know, just kind of see where, you know, things would go.
[11:10 - 11:20] It's like, I noticed like a lot of streamers that are out in between, they don't really have much as far as like being on Twitch, they don't really have the proper setup.
[11:20 - 11:27] And I cannot say I'm in that same boat, to be honest with you, I'm in that same exact boat.
[11:27 - 11:39] So I mean, it's just something interesting that I kind of wanted to do, but like I said, that's pretty much the direction I'm going now is, you know, focusing more on my artwork, my book work.
[11:39 - 11:43] Focusing on putting out good streams for you guys.
[11:43 - 11:48] I might end up doing another coffee and chill, which I haven't done in a good while.
[11:48 - 11:56] But yeah, I hope you guys have a good rest of your morning and I'll catch you guys in a little bit of peace.
