[0:00 - 0:10] [silence]
[0:10 - 0:12] What's up you guys?
[0:12 - 0:38] [silence]
[0:38 - 1:02] I know it's early, but I need to make this announcement. You see, I haven't told everyone everything that's going on.
[1:02 - 1:12] Because I didn't want anyone to worry. I didn't want anybody asking questions, but
[1:12 - 1:24] now it's to the point where I can't hide it anymore.
[1:24 - 1:40] This Saturday is going to be my final battle and my final act as a music artist for good.
[1:40 - 1:52] As of this Saturday, I'm retiring from music. Not because I want to, but because there's something going on that I wanted to tell you guys.
[1:52 - 2:00] But I didn't want to deal with that permission of the person I'm about to speak about.
[2:00 - 2:10] She's one of my best friends in the world and her name is Ios.
[2:10 - 2:19] For the past two years, she's been battling an infection and it's only gone worse.
[2:19 - 2:26] It's gone to the point where she's now not only battling one infection, but two.
[2:26 - 2:39] She doesn't know if she's going to live or die.
[2:39 - 2:47] She's been fighting it for a long time now and the doctors don't even know what's going on.
[2:47 - 2:59] They don't know what the two infections are doing to make her go downhill, but they're doing all they can to fight.
[2:59 - 3:13] So this Saturday, my final match on He Just His Channel, my final battle, is going to be dedicated to her.
[3:13 - 3:20] And the reason why I am retiring from music isn't because I want to,
[3:20 - 3:29] but because I want to be there for the one person that stood by my side no matter what.
[3:29 - 3:44] Even from before I started music, she's always been there. She's always stood by my side, always had my best interest at heart.
[3:44 - 3:58] When I got home from jail that next morning, after I got out of jail, she was one of the first ones to tell me,
[3:58 - 4:16] "You don't need to be doing that. You're better than this."
[4:16 - 4:27] When I lost my best friend Zach back in 2016, she was one of the first ones there to help me through it.
[4:27 - 4:38] When my brother died, she was the first one to call me up and check on me and see how I was doing.
[4:38 - 4:47] When I went through all these nasty breakups and all these relationships, she was one of the very few that actually stepped up and said,
[4:47 - 4:58] "Hey, are you okay? What's going on?" And actually said something to those people that did me wrong.
[4:58 - 5:09] "And I know what you guys are thinking. What am I going to do after I retire from music? I'll tell you what I'm going to do.
[5:09 - 5:19] I'm going to do like I promised her I would do and carry on her legacy in art.
[5:19 - 5:31] I'm going to continue on her style, which she influenced me into. I'm going to carry on her style of art in her name.
[5:31 - 5:39] Whether she lives or dies, I'm still going to continue it on.
[5:39 - 5:44] Do I want to retire from these battles? Do I want to retire from music?
[5:44 - 5:54] No, because you guys know I've been doing this for years. It's what I love.
[5:54 - 6:03] But right now, one of my friends, one of my best friends in the world needs me.
[6:03 - 6:14] And that to me is more important than some stupid music career without smoke.
[6:14 - 6:19] And I know a lot of you guys wanted to see me succeed in music.
[6:19 - 6:33] And maybe one day I'll come out of retirement. Maybe one day I will come back.
[6:33 - 7:01] But right now, one of the closest people to me is on the brink of death, knocking at death's door, not knowing how long she's going to have left.
[7:01 - 7:18] And when she told me just a few hours ago that it's gotten worse and that they don't know how long she's going to have without the antibiotics that she needs, which they're trying hard to get.
[7:18 - 7:31] My heart just fucking sank. I didn't know what to say. Didn't know what to do.
[7:31 - 7:43] And I know a lot of you guys, I know some of you haters are probably thinking, oh good, he's gone. Oh, this is just him popping out. No, it isn't. This is me being real.
[7:43 - 7:53] This is me being fucking honest. This is me being a human being and a good friend.
[7:53 - 8:13] To somebody who's had my back since day fucking one.
[8:13 - 8:32] So at the end of my match on Saturday, I'm officially passing down the torch to my two brothers that I know can handle it.
[8:32 - 8:47] Which are my little brother, Bradley, AKA Ian Duxworth, and my brother, Crip Kay, because I know Crip Kay very well.
[8:47 - 8:54] I know he'll do the right thing and carry on the legacy. And I know that Bradley will as well.
[8:54 - 9:04] They'll both carry on the legacy of not only my name, but also my style.
[9:04 - 9:09] I know they'll do the right thing with music and I know they'll change the world.
[9:09 - 9:16] I know they will because I believe in them.
[9:16 - 9:25] And I know what you guys thinking, oh, why don't you just continue on music and do, you know, music for your friend? No.
[9:25 - 9:44] Well, Ian and Crip Kay are carrying on my legacy. I'm going to be carrying on my friend's legacy in art.
[9:44 - 9:54] But before I do go, for good, I want to say thank you.
[9:54 - 10:07] Thank you to every single one of you that has stood by me all these years through thinking thin, high and low, no matter what went down.
[10:07 - 10:14] You guys were there.
[10:14 - 10:19] And you don't know how much that fucking means to me.
[10:19 - 10:26] Whenever somebody came in and attacked me, y'all were there.
[10:26 - 10:36] Whenever I lost family or friends, you guys were there.
[10:36 - 10:40] When I went through these nasty breakups, you guys were there.
[10:40 - 10:53] When I lost my older brother to lung cancer or my best friend to gun violence back in 2016, you guys were there.
[10:53 - 10:59] And I will always and forever be grateful to you guys for that.
[10:59 - 11:14] Now, yes, I will still be putting out instrumental work, but that's it. I won't be releasing any more songs.
[11:14 - 11:28] But instead, I'll be releasing instrumentals with my artwork and my friend's artwork starting after Saturday.
[11:28 - 11:36] I want to say thank you guys for an amazing career, and you guys gave me the most amazing 10 years of my life.
[11:36 - 11:39] You really did.
[11:39 - 11:43] I mean, you guys got me to fucking superstardom.
[11:43 - 11:54] You guys got me to a level that I'm grateful for.
[11:54 - 12:05] I am beyond grateful to everyone that has stood by me.
[12:05 - 12:13] But now is my time to step down and make way for the new generation.
[12:13 - 12:36] Now is my time to let the new artists like Bradley make their mark on the world and leave behind an everlasting mark just like I did.
[12:36 - 12:47] Now, am I excited for this Saturday? Absolutely. And I can promise you guys, even though this is going to be my final fight,
[12:47 - 12:56] even though this is going to be my final match of my career for rap battles, even though this is going to be my final fucking fight,
[12:56 - 13:07] I promise you guys, I'm going to give you the best fight that you've ever seen.
[13:07 - 13:14] And whether I win or lose, I don't care.
[13:14 - 13:20] But I promise you guys, I'm going to give you the best fucking fight that you've ever seen.
[13:20 - 13:26] I'm going to give it everything I fucking got. I'm going to swing for the fences, come win or lose.
[13:26 - 13:35] I'm going to come out swinging.
[13:35 - 13:54] And to Alice, if you're watching this, I want you to know that this Saturday's match is going to be for you.
[13:54 - 14:06] And I know you're probably watching this, and I promise you this, Alice, like I told you, since nobody else will stand by you, I will.
[14:06 - 14:17] I'll help you fight. I'll be your reason for fighting because I actually care about you.
[14:17 - 14:31] You're one of the closest people to me.
[14:31 - 14:43] And there's no way in hell I'm going to let you give up without a fucking fight.
[14:43 - 14:56] Because like I told you earlier, I believe in you.
[14:56 - 15:02] And there's no way in hell I'm going to let you give up like that.
[15:02 - 15:16] I'm going to help you fight. I'm going to help you beat this thing. There's not going to be any dying for you because I know you're going to make it.
[15:16 - 15:23] I'm going to make damn sure of it. No matter how long it takes, I'm going to help you fight.
[15:23 - 15:33] I don't care how many hours I have to stay up doing research. I don't care what it is I have to do.
[15:33 - 15:44] I'm going to help you fight and beat this thing.
[15:44 - 16:00] And as I said to everyone that has supported me all these years, I want to say thank you for the best 10 years of my fucking life because you guys showed me a lot, taught me a lot.
[16:00 - 16:20] And as I said, I promise you guys that even though this Saturday is going to be my final match in music, even though it's going to be my last round, I'm going to give you guys the best fucking match ever.
[16:20 - 16:32] Because as I said, win or lose, I'm coming out swinging no matter what.
[16:32 - 16:47] Like I said, even though I'll be done in music after this next match, win or lose, thank you guys so much.
[16:47 - 17:02] I want to say thank you guys so much for the best 10 years of my life because this final battle may be my final battle in music period.
[17:02 - 17:08] I'm still going to give it 110% for you guys.
[17:08 - 17:24] Thank you guys again so much for the best 10 years of my life. And I promise you guys, even though I will be venturing into art full time after this.
[17:24 - 17:30] I promise you guys I'm going to give that my all as well.
[17:30 - 17:37] I love you guys. Thank you.
[17:37 - 17:43] You guys are amazing.
