2020-9-25 My 1st REal Break in Over 10 YEars

[0:00 - 0:26] What's up guys it's your boy Cyraxx this isn't going to be a very long video but I just kind of wanted to come on here and explain a couple things
[0:26 - 0:42] the main thing being that I am actually stepping away from music for a while a very long while
[0:42 - 0:56] and like putting music by any means like for good no I'm not quitting for good but to be honest with you guys
[0:56 - 1:16] I haven't been hiding anymore and the last time I really took a real legitimate break from anything and took a legit break from my music was over 10 years ago
[1:16 - 1:28] for the past several years it's just been go go go go go go go produce produce produce put out music put out music put out music
[1:28 - 1:38] for the past 10 years and to be honest I'm tired of it you know I need a break away from it
[1:38 - 1:52] when I think about that for a minute going non-stop for over 10 years dude 10 years I've been doing this music thing non-stop
[1:52 - 2:12] and it sucks because doing my music kind of it took me away from what I really wanted out of my life
[2:12 - 2:28] as a kid I always wanted to follow in my great grandmother's footsteps as an artist and you know to be successful as an artist
[2:28 - 2:42] as I said I grew up doing artwork my entire life my great grandmother was an artist and an author herself and I've always wanted to follow in her footsteps and do that
[2:42 - 3:00] but don't be wrong I enjoy doing music I really do I've learned a lot and I'm able to incorporate that into what I do in a lot of different interesting ways which I have done over the years
[3:00 - 3:14] and I'll still continue to do that that's never gonna change but right now I need a break because for the past 10 years
[3:14 - 3:30] I have been just on this road was addiction of you know uploading and doing what other people wanted me to do doing the music that people wanted me to do
[3:30 - 3:53] you know doing the live shows which I do enjoy don't get it wrong like I do enjoy those but like I've always been doing you know what other people wanted me to do and I kind of lost sight of what it is that I really want to do with my life
[3:53 - 4:12] don't get me wrong music is still very much one of those things but I have not really had the chance to sit down and focus on my artwork I've always had to put it to the side and
[4:12 - 4:33] it just got hard, you know, I wasn't able to do it because I was constantly working on records constantly working on albums, constantly, you know, working on instrumental pieces recording doing this doing that, you know, promoting
[4:33 - 4:59] and doing shows back to back to back to back and you know it became like my version of a nine to five job, you know, a lot of people are like yo like you need to do this blah blah blah you need to put this out if you want to be successful blah blah blah blah you need to do this beyond
[4:59 - 5:11] that yada yada yada, which don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the music aspect. I really did like I enjoyed everything about it I still very much enjoy it.
[5:11 - 5:19] You know, I still will always enjoy putting out a good song that helps somebody.
[5:19 - 5:29] Always, always 110%. Be grateful for the opportunities that I've gotten.
[5:29 - 5:48] The amazing artists that I've gotten to work with like Kaylon, Bradley, you know, everyone that I've gotten to work with over the years, I'm very proud of that. I'm proud to say that I actually did something and was able to help people through my music.
[5:48 - 5:56] I am always forever going to be proud of that.
[5:56 - 6:01] But as for right now.
[6:01 - 6:10] I need to follow my heart and follow my stomach, and like get feeling.
[6:10 - 6:18] And I need to put music aside for a while and focus on my artwork.
[6:18 - 6:44] When I'm not doing my artwork, or no I'm not doing my art, but when I'm not doing my music, or I'm not ripping it up on the track and chillin with some friends like you guys saw me do late last night.
[6:44 - 7:06] I'm usually working on my artwork, and like when I'm doing my artwork that's when I'm at most at peace, and my peace when I'm just sitting down cruising and chilling and whatnot, and I'm throwing down some drifts, absolutely.
[7:06 - 7:11] I'm very much at peace when I do that.
[7:11 - 7:21] When I wind down like that I love to just chill and cruise and throw down on the tailgate with some friends, that's never going to change.
[7:21 - 7:26] But I am most at peace when I'm doing my artwork.
[7:26 - 7:54] Amongst all this drama with Marty and Tonic and the Fender Boys and all that, like, between all the hectic chaotic drama in my life, especially on here, you know what may have to do with Tyler and, you know, all these people that want to see me
[7:54 - 8:07] wrote, that want to see me fail like I've not gotten the chance to break some boys, you know, looking over my shoulder wondering who's going to attack me next.
[8:07 - 8:22] And I think it's time that I stepped away from that, you know, because I'm tired of looking over my shoulder every few seconds and wondering hey, who's going to attack me next.
[8:22 - 8:31] What do I have to defend myself against this time. What is it that I need to be worried about this time.
[8:31 - 8:58] You know, I've always had to deal with that. And, you know, I've had so many accusations thrown at me so many wrongdoings towards me that I've become this robot of defense.
[8:58 - 9:07] Every time somebody it got to the point where every time somebody says something negative, I automatically go into defense mode.
[9:07 - 9:30] I've never been able to like actually relax and actually do what I want to do.
[9:30 - 9:37] And that's kind of why I'm taking a break from the music side of things for a good while.
[9:37 - 9:50] And so I can focus on my art, and, you know, do what I really really need to do right now, especially with the opportunities I'm being presented with.
[9:50 - 9:57] I need to take this seriously because I could do this for the rest of my life, if this works out.
[9:57 - 10:03] Like I saw your comment, dude. And I do do meditation, man.
[10:03 - 10:12] To this day, I've always done that.
[10:12 - 10:28] With that being said, guys, I'm not sure when I'm going to upload again, or when I'm going to do another live.
[10:28 - 10:45] I'm going to try to upload, you know, a couple videos here and there, but for the most part, like I'm not leaving YouTube or anything like that, so don't think that.
[10:45 - 10:55] But I just want you guys to know that I appreciate you guys so much, man, all the support you guys have shown me over the years.
[10:55 - 11:04] Everything you guys have done for me is absolutely insane.
[11:04 - 11:15] You guys have no idea how much all that positivity and all the good stuff you guys have said, all the stuff you guys have done for me.
[11:15 - 11:21] There's just no way of you guys knowing just how much all that means.
[11:21 - 11:32] You know, it really does mean a lot to me and I will forever, forever be grateful for that.
[11:32 - 11:50] But I don't know what else to say, but other than I will see you guys whenever I decide to go live again and come back.
[11:50 - 11:56] Now, don't get me wrong, I will be doing uploads, like I said, whenever I get the chance to.
[11:56 - 11:59] But right now I need to focus on my artwork.
[11:59 - 12:02] I need to force this break.
[12:02 - 12:13] Like I need to force myself to take a break here because, like I said, the last time I really took a break was over 10 years ago.
[12:13 - 12:23] And I need a break. I need to force that.
[12:23 - 12:41] I need to force myself to take a break because honestly, the last time I was ever able to be normal and take a break and just chill out and relax, like I said, was over 10 years ago.
[12:41 - 12:46] 10 years I've been doing this shit nonstop.
[12:46 - 13:00] And I think right now is the time for me to take a break, step away and kind of just catch my breath.
[13:00 - 13:10] But I love you guys. You guys are awesome.
[13:10 - 13:22] You know, like I said, I will always, always, you know, be grateful for the things you guys have done.
[13:22 - 13:28] Like, I can't deny it, man, like the Cyrix Nation is fucking amazing.
[13:28 - 13:38] And hopefully, even though I will be taking a break, you know, hopefully, you know, you guys continue to make it grow and you guys continue to help each other.
[13:38 - 13:46] Now, the Cyrix Nation ain't ending. That ain't going to happen because when I come back, it's going to be good.
[13:46 - 13:51] You know, I'm definitely going to be doing a lot more.
[13:51 - 14:02] But yeah, continue to look after each other, continue to watch each other's backs, you know, continue to help each other out.
[14:02 - 14:16] And, you know, like I always say, if you see somebody that is going through some shit, don't let them be silent, talk to them about it, get them to speak about it.
[14:16 - 14:20] You know, don't let them be silent.
[14:20 - 14:37] You see somebody going through depression, talk to them. Or if you yourself are going through something, reach out to somebody and talk to them.
[14:37 - 14:42] Because you're not alone.
[14:42 - 14:51] You know, there are people here in the community that do care. And, you know, I care.
[14:51 - 14:55] And, you know, every one of you guys means the world to me.
[14:55 - 15:05] I wouldn't trade you guys for nothing at all. Like you guys are fucking, you guys are like a second family to me.
[15:05 - 15:10] You know, like I wouldn't trade you guys for nothing.
[15:10 - 15:17] Even though some of you can be knuckleheaded. I got a lot of some of you guys can be knuckleheaded, aka Tonic.
[15:17 - 15:22] Just saying, bruh. Tonic.
[15:22 - 15:30] But, you know, you guys are awesome. And, you know, hopefully the community continues to grow.
[15:30 - 15:41] And, you know, hopefully the Cyrax Nation continues to grow and, you know, get back to where it was.
