[0:10 - 0:14] What up guys, Shadowboy here.
[0:14 - 0:18] And today I have something I wanted to speak to you guys about.
[0:18 - 0:24] Some of you might not know but
[0:24 - 0:28] Some of you might be aware of the subject that's going around
[0:28 - 0:32] as far as com-cons go, some of you might not.
[0:32 - 0:36] But if you don't know I'm going to fill you in
[0:36 - 0:40] so you're not missing out on anything.
[0:40 - 0:44] Almost all com-cons are banning weapons.
[0:44 - 0:48] And for very good reason.
[0:48 - 0:54] With that being said,
[0:54 - 1:04] you know, the reason why they're banning it is because of people like this man that I'm about to play the clip for you of.
[1:04 - 1:10] He was, he had the intent
[1:10 - 1:16] to kill, if you guys know I'm very good friends with, you know,
[1:16 - 1:22] the man that played the green white ranger, the red zero ranger,
[1:22 - 1:30] the red turbo ranger, and the black dino thunder ranger.
[1:30 - 1:36] Well, he sent me a clip just a couple hours ago and I didn't catch it until just now but
[1:36 - 1:40] when he did send it to me, I watched it.
[1:40 - 1:46] This man had an intent. He was dressed as the punisher.
[1:46 - 1:52] He had the intent to walk into a com-con with the intent to kill Jason David Frank.
[1:52 - 1:58] Some of you might know him as the green ranger on Power Rangers.
[1:58 - 2:04] This man walked in with four pistols and one knife
[2:04 - 2:10] with the intent to get past security and to either harm or to
[2:10 - 2:16] possibly kill and murder Jason David Frank.
[2:16 - 2:22] What his motive was, they are not releasing that yet but
[2:22 - 2:28] I will let this next clip speak for itself so you guys can see
[2:28 - 2:34] just what he's talking about.
[2:39 - 2:45] Sterling intended to harm Jason David Frank, known for his role as the green power ranger.
[2:45 - 2:49] I have already forgiven him. Do I want him to
[2:49 - 2:52] serve jail time and get the mental help he needs? Absolutely.
[2:52 - 2:58] A tip leading police to confront Sterling and he was armed with a knife and four loaded guns.
[2:58 - 3:00] Has your opinion changed at all?
[3:00 - 3:03] I feel safe if they're checking for guns and they're checking for backpacks
[3:03 - 3:08] and not letting people walk in just like he did and point to a table and then just bypass it.
[3:08 - 3:10] Phoenix is the first and this shouldn't be the last.
[3:10 - 3:14] Yet many fans slamming promoters for their decision on Facebook.
[3:14 - 3:18] Really? No lightsabers or even wands of all things one person writes?
[3:18 - 3:23] I'm back in Phoenix Comic Con. I think they have great rules
[3:23 - 3:28] and I think the people that are focusing on bringing a gun is so bummed out there's more to life.
[3:28 - 3:33] San Diego Comic Con is this weekend where promoters are not choosing to ban metal prop weapons.
[3:33 - 3:39] Frank is still planning to be there, but we'll have five personal security guards on him at the event.
[3:39 - 3:52] As you guys just saw, I personally agree with him on the subject of banning weapons from Comic Con.
[3:52 - 4:01] I'm not saying, I know that weapons are a very big part of certain cosplays like Trigon.
[4:01 - 4:12] You know, several other ones like Attack on Titan, you know, the blades that they use.
[4:12 - 4:25] The Punisher obviously, Deadpool, just many different, you know, weapons at Comic Con.
[4:25 - 4:31] I personally do agree with their rules because they're not trying to bum anyone out.
[4:31 - 4:37] They're trying to keep people safe. They're trying to keep the staff, the guests there.
[4:37 - 4:41] They're trying to keep the people that come there to have a good time safe.
[4:41 - 4:49] And the only way they know how to do that is sadly and unfortunately to ban weapons from Comic Cons.
[4:49 - 4:58] And, you know, like I said, I don't disagree with that. I fully agree with it 100%.
[4:58 - 5:10] I feel like if somebody as ill-minded as that man was can come in and bypass security and just, you know, try to kill somebody,
[5:10 - 5:21] say somebody with a sword or even worse comes in with the intent to do harm to a staff member or somebody there.
[5:21 - 5:31] So personally, I do agree with that. I understand that a lot of you might be pissed at me for this, but,
[5:31 - 5:39] and I know like lightsabers are not for real yet. Well, I can't say they are, but I can't say they're not.
[5:39 - 5:55] Like you get what I mean. But at the same time, you know, like Bitesabers are still in that experimental stage where they're not even fully functioning yet.
[5:55 - 6:04] So, you know, you can't really do any harm with a lightsaber unless it's like a fencing lightsaber, like, you know, that's normal.
[6:04 - 6:10] And I can understand, you know, where people would be bummed out about that if you're like me, you're a huge Star Wars fan.
[6:10 - 6:20] And, you know, you want to play the role of a Jedi or Sith Lord. And like, you know, obviously the lightsaber is a very iconic weapon.
[6:20 - 6:40] But honestly, I fully agree with their decisions and why they're doing what they're doing. Like, you know, they're just trying to keep everybody safe.
[6:40 - 6:53] And there's a lot of you may or may not know like Jason M. Frank is actually a very, you know, not only is huge inspiration to me, but also, you know, he's a very good friend of mine.
[6:53 - 7:03] I talked to him on Facebook quite a bit, actually, through his fan page. You know, he's always liking my artwork.
[7:03 - 7:13] Like, he's always liking the stuff that I do for him. And, you know, like, every time I close something up, he's like, dude, like, I love that. That's awesome.
[7:13 - 7:31] Like, thank you. But he loves my artwork that I send to him. And honestly, you know, just getting to talk to him in general and just him liking my stuff, you know, believe it or not, he's actually more of a normal person than most people believe to believe.
[7:31 - 7:46] Like, he's very nice. He's very well-mannered. You know, he's a real nice person all around. And, you know, like, a lot of the times when I'm going through a tough time, I'll talk to him and be like, hey, when you get him in a can, I talk to you about something.
[7:46 - 7:53] And, you know, he'll help me out with whatever situation I'm going through at that time.
[7:53 - 8:03] So, you know, I definitely appreciate people like him taking the time out of his day to talk to people like myself.
[8:03 - 8:24] And honestly, I feel as if somebody were to talk to this man who tried to go into the Comic Cons and do harm to him. I feel like if somebody would have talked to that man a lot sooner, I feel like maybe this could have been prevented many, many, many days ahead of time.
[8:24 - 8:32] And maybe, you know, Comic Cons want me in the situation they're in.
[8:32 - 8:43] So, with that being said, guys, I'm going to end this little snippet thingy right here. Post in the comments whether you agree or disagree.
[8:43 - 8:49] If you agree, you know, slap that like button. If you disagree, you already know what other button to hit.
[8:49 - 9:11] I prefer you to hit the like button, but the dislike button is there too if you want to hit that. But if you're watching this and you haven't done so yet, hit that subscribe button, hit that like button, and hit that notification bell at the bottom if you want to see more notifications.
[9:11 - 9:21] But with that being said, guys, this is Shadowblood, and I will catch you guys next time. Like I said, if you agree or disagree, post it in the comments.
[9:21 - 9:30] Let me know what your guys' thoughts and opinions are on this matter. And I will see you guys next time. Peace.
