2012-6-29 Inside The Shadows Episode 1 Part 2

[0:00 - 0:10] This is your boy DJ Shadowblood and this is actually something I didn't mention in the last episode.
[0:10 - 0:19] This is actually episode one, part two. The first one was like the first part. Sort of like an intro and so whatever.
[0:19 - 0:31] But in this part I am going to show you where all the magic happens and stuff like that.
[0:31 - 0:36] I'm going to show you guys my makeshift studio downstairs where I do all my beats.
[0:36 - 0:56] And then the following episode and that one I'm going to go back and show you guys upstairs where I do all my vocals and stuff when my mom's not around because she's kind of getting so annoyed by it.
[0:56 - 1:10] But uh, I'm done. Come on, let's check it out.
[1:10 - 1:17] As you can see we got some wooden stairs. This place is fairly old.
[1:17 - 1:27] But it's all good. Got my little punching bag right here that I like to work out on and keep in shape with.
[1:27 - 1:35] I love messing with that. Got a little foosball table and whatnot.
[1:35 - 1:54] Over here I don't know if you can see it or not, but there is like a desk right there. It's where I like to do all my lyrics and when I'm sitting down relaxing I come down, work on some lyrics, have fun.
[1:54 - 2:10] I'm just at peace here. I come down here, put some music on my phone or on my iPod and I just relax, listen to music and get some ideas.
[2:10 - 2:22] Over here you got my shelf full of different stuff. You can't really see it. I got number three, Dale Earnhardt, a collectible car. I'm a bit of a NASCAR fan.
[2:22 - 2:30] And then you got my trophy. I went and kept scouts when I was a little kid and then a picture of me and one of my friends.
[2:30 - 2:47] And seven thousand right there is like my bookshelf. You got a little rolling machine that I like to work out on and stuff just to keep myself in shape along with some weights right down here.
[2:47 - 3:03] Then my bike. I do a lot of bike riding and BMX. And then of course I got my skateboard right there. You can't really see it but it's a swift justice monger.
[3:03 - 3:11] It's pretty badass actually. I do a lot of skateboarding and stuff in my spare time.
[3:11 - 3:24] I got an empty CD case here that's got, I got my Godsmack Oracle CD in the computer here but this is where it all happens.
[3:24 - 3:41] This is my old HP Compact Presario processor computer. It's pretty old. It's very slow but you know it works for now until I can at least upgrade and stuff.
[3:41 - 3:56] This is a tower and stuff and one that of course. And then you got a Three Wise Monkeys lamp that I got one year. It's a CUNO Eagle, Speak No Eagle, Sea No Eagle lamp.
[3:56 - 4:17] I got a thing of sunflower seeds here that I like to munch on whenever I get the munchies cause you know you gotta stay, you can't go hungry if you're working on music so whenever I get the munchies or I just get hungry for like a snack I munch on those.
[4:17 - 4:31] But uh, yeah and then over here you got like our laundry room area right here. You got a couple washers and dryers.
[4:31 - 4:38] You got our heating boiler for our hot water and shit.
[4:38 - 4:48] But uh, that's it for this studio.
[4:48 - 5:05] So why don't I take you guys back upstairs and we will end it up there like we usually do. Come on.
[5:05 - 5:15] Sorry for the darkness, it's gonna get dark for a minute.
[5:15 - 5:20] See it gets big upstairs.
[5:20 - 5:32] I'm telling you I hate these stairs, they're nuts.
[5:32 - 5:46] But um, I hope you guys enjoyed this little behind the scenes tour of my little makeshift studio.
[5:46 - 6:04] I'm actually working on getting a new mic and a guitar and stuff here next week so I will have that all set so I can hopefully start working on some better guitar stuff and whatnot.
